Saka is the living embodiment of the Arteta approach, technique first and foremost. Everything else can be coached in by a good coach and system. When he came in at lb I immediately thought this lad is technically immaculate for that age, and his understanding of center of gravity and how to manipulate his opponent to his advantage has always been world class. And he’s 21 lol all his attributes are only going upward from here.

From his early breakthrough games, one thing was certainly clear, there is something special about him. First thing that was clear was that he can run with the ball while also shielding it in a way that the opponent has no access to it in any way. And then his decision-making and execution, are absolutely spot on. Then, it was about finding his position in the team which Arteta found in that December game against Lampard's Chelsea. In two and half years since and still at the age of only 21, he has already established himself as the top 5 wingers in the world.

I called it 2 years ago and everyone said i was delusional and start comparing him to foden,grealish,rashford and so on,these are in my opinion extremely talented footballers but saka is special,no one would believe he's only 21 if he wasnt born in england, his intelligence is insane for a 21yr old ,his decision making is that of a 30yr old.

Excellent analysis AGAIN! For me Saka is the Arsenal player of the season by a mile. Odegaard was excellent, but if you removed Saka from the team the entire season, Odegaard doesn’t come anywhere close to the statistics he achieved! You said well when you pointed out that Saka makes things happen. He does! And when they start happening, it activates the strengths of others around him and causes them to thrive in his shadows. I’m a bit disappointed he didn’t get this recognition from those who voted; but it’s not a simple analogy for many! That’s why I love this channel, it consistently highlights unusual events that many analysts absolutely overlook or are simple just not good enough to even see them. I loved this profile. When you pause and look at what Arteta has achieved with both Saka and Martinelli, then Odegaard and Xhaka in the final 3rd, it’s insane coaching to say the least. He was always credited with the City offensive player’s coaching and many thought it was just talk to boost his ratings by Pep! For me he’s the Arsenal player of the season and Odegaard is second. I can already sense Arteta is reimagining the way Arsenal attacks for the coming season and that thought alone is scary and exciting! I want to see who we buy; money is not an issue, I’m sure about that. But some links are not true. For me I’ll just wait for the end of the window really!

For years we saw England come up against teams they were supposed to beat easily and score lots of goals against, and struggle to beat them. Now England regularly win qualifying matches comfortably, and if we say "North Macedonia were easy to beat", remember what happened to Italy!
