I have the mt125, there is no fuel map programming. These are mechanically injected diesel engines. That aside the only time I have been able to put a serious load on the engine is with PTO driven implements and when lifting with the loader while driving hard into a pile of clay dirt. I would say that if you won't be mowing overgrown grass with a 60" mower deck or running a wood chipper or PTO generator you won't notice the lower power output of the mt122. The only problems I've had relate to poor dealer installation of accessories. Mower lift arms Installed on the wrong sides blocking the reverse pedal with the deck up. Loose, missing, and crossthreaded bolts on the spin around seat bracket and on the mower brackets. The loader control lever likes to come loose, I will have to locktite it but haven't so far because u don't think you can un screw it with the bodywork in place. I use mine for snow removal and have had no issues starting it in below 0 temperatures without any heaters. I use 10 seconds of glow plug activation in cold weather and changed to 5w40 synthetic diesel engine oil for faster lubrication in Wisconsin winters. It will sound like the engine is full of loose rocks until it warms up but so does my diesel truck.

I’ve got just over 20 hours on mine. Redid my culvert, buried a new fiber optic line from pole to house. Moved and stacked a bunch of pallets. Spread 18 yds of 2 minus. My only complaint is the loader isn’t as powerful as I could use but it got the job done.

Just installed a mechanical thumb from 7Blacksmiths and like it very much. I used the bottom plates from an axle attachment u-bolt kit, (3 to be exact,) on my LS-MT 125 series. 👋👋👋Like your channel. Cudos.

Just hit 3.5 hrs on my mt122 and had two issues so far. Safety switch under the seat got pinched when spinning the seat for the hoe and popped a fuse and second issue I had was the hydro fitting behind the right rear tire was loose and leaking got 3 full turns out of it had to remove the tire to get to it.

I have the mt122. I like it mostly and have scraper box on it no back hoe so on my hilly 3 1/2 acres it is tippy. I enjoy your videos and I am about to change my oil after watching that video so very much appreciate your channel. Did you say wheel spacers? Where would I get those and how does it work? Obviously I am not mechanically inclined like you but I am teachable. Appreciate any advice.

I've been looking at this exact setup the past week. Looks like a great machine and it is so much cheaper than the John Deere.

I considered going green paint but the flat floor sold me on the LS. And John deer said they were unable to put the backhoe on without buying the more expensive 25hp... that was A lie so I left.

The Ls company builds them for newholland and bobcat, I believe they build them for other as well. Need parts just go to new Holland and get parts for the workmaster 25s
@TheRichardOlson2 жыл бұрын
That's a common miss conception. There's completely Different standards for new holland equipment as in quality standards out the door. Also, LS doesnt build them, only produces SOME parts and most of those being plastic...

Videos from owners are the best love how you cut through all the BS. Shopping for my first tractor so I need all the help I can get. Already talked to John Deere, big negative! I'm going to get an LS quote tomorrow. Did you get it with the bucket hooks and loop or did you add them after? What pallet forks did you get and were they from the dealer or aftermarket? Thanks again for a very helpful video.

Thanks, man. I need a small powerful tractor like this but I've been wrestling between buying a used John Deere, love the 2025R but it's just too expensive, 10 year old ones still want near new prices. This looks like my price range and new is new. How easy does the loader and backhoe come off?
@TheRichardOlson3 жыл бұрын
Very easy! I chose this over the Johndeere because of the flat floor and the 2 pedals. Super rig.

The LS has the same motor as the John Deere. Just buying the name in most cases adds the price up.

Thanks for the video. I’m moving out of the city to about 5 acres and I need to clear brush and small trees to clear some of the land. Then I need to bring in some fill to make some usable space out of some marsh/wet land as we had a river at the back of the lot. Do you think this thing could take out bushes and shrubs and stuff?

From what I have seen, all the little tractors are tippy. Some of your other problems ( loose nuts & so on) are a dealer problem not necessarily typical of the brand. Probably are assembled by high school kids working part time at the dealer.

@@partsman1979 The hydro drive has a small break in period as the mating surfaces settle in. I know the LS manual says 250 hours for hydro service, but I'd recommend that you drain all hydro and replace both filters at the 50 hour service. Replace the fluid and add about 1/2 bottle of Lucas Hydro Booster & Stop Leak. After that service I can almost guarantee that you will feel and considerable improvement over the fluid that was used in the first 50 hours. After that I do hydro service once per year even if I don't make the recommended 250 service life of the hydro fluid

Just so you and everyone else who sees this vid, the question is why did "Tony's Tractor Adventure" get rid of all the LS tractors he had. He did not say why on any vid I've seen....
@TheRichardOlson4 жыл бұрын
I know. Sadly sone people do this for money and sell out...
@dannyixoye2624 жыл бұрын
@@TheRichardOlson well if it was to do other equipment reviews just for the sake of doing it for the money, I'm ok with that. My concern is he experienced problems with the LS and didn't share that bit of info. As you stated, there are not many dealers of the LS brand. I live in Ohio and though there is a few, the closest to me is a bit over an hour. Though there is some negative history on LS, like buying out some companies and no longer have parts for the equipment and that is a negative that they LS, might go out of business. That said, I really don't see that happening only because they have larger equipment than the 125
@ARCSSelfDefense4 жыл бұрын
I won't speak for Tony, but I can tell you many dealers are unhappy with the CEO of LS. They have said he is all around unethical, likes to cut corners where he shouldn't, and has fired loyal employees because he is trying to save money and stop the bleeding after some of his bad decisions as CEO. The rumor is that his contract is coming due and he will not be renewed with LS. Hopefully they replace him with someone who will be true to the employees and the LS brand.

@@TheRichardOlson This is Tony's reply to me when I asked why he is now doing TYM's... Tony's Tractor Adventure 4 days ago LS tractor is struggling in a few areas and therefore I cannot recommend them on my channel anymore.
