Hockey doesn’t start for another 4 months. Just because they haven’t done it within 24 hours doesn’t mean it wont happen.

Over 1000 games & no playoffs. Canes started to make the playoffs after Skinner was traded. Smart move by the Sabres. The team needs all players buying into a team system structure. Happy Ruff forced the Sabres to buyout Skinner.

As soon as they hired Lindy, this was a foregone conclusion. He doesn’t fit Lindy’s system at all and, at 71, Ruff isn’t wasting a year when younger players/new players can come in learn and contribute. Lindy’s not about that life. I hope Skinner goes to a real playoff contender.

@@profduck715 Why in the world wouldn’t he? He already has two rings, the moneys there, it would give him the opportunity to be the guy, the star player on a team. It would also give him a lot of respect in the hockey world if he became the guy to end the drought.

The sabres would save $ if they keep skinner till the end of the year. If skinner does stay, will he be able to make the transition to be more physical or will he wish he was bought out

The buyout differences between now & next off-season is not that big. 1 less year at the end basically.

Lindy Ruff will be the big needed difference maker for the Sabres. His structure & accountability is definitely what this young Sabres team needs.

It didn't make sense no matter how you try and spin it. Adams proves yet again he should be selling hot dogs at the arena instead of being a GM. This is THE WORST organization in the NHL maybe even in all of sports.

It's like the Bills situation ,we will bring back Rhino ha ha ha ha the thing is no 1 wants to play in Buffalo so I don't think we're gonna do anything ,I mean ya Adams will try but Luke I said noooooo1 and then it becomes like the Bills situation we have a good dam team already Paterka,Tnt,Quinn ,Tuch,Cozens,#24 will progress under Lindy guarantee it we don't need shit but 4 the players to play like men this year,and they will now I haven't even mentioned our best player and the rest of the D Power uts time to become a hitter and Lindy will make you the best then our new C and best loyal player Rasmus will become a beast this year o and we got the best goalie tandem sorry Bostybees it be great if Rhino came back Or we could feed Stamko,a bunch of wings and he became addicted but it's not happening do we need another player like Taylor Hall I hope not

Not every player has a no trade and players agree to go where money is. Pegula is the only reason this team can spend to the cap

So if some players don't want to play in Buffalo it is what it is. That winger from Washington gives Buffalo that needed 4th line winger that banged out 214 hits & was good on the PK. Peterka stepped up last, Cozens & Tage will bounce back, Buffalo will also have a healthy Quinn next season, Benson is no longer a rookie & they have a deep forward prospect pool (Kulich, Rosen, Savoie) to turn to instead. Add in a young & very talented defenseman core (Dahlin, Power, Samuelson & Bryum).
