Trying to decide between getting this and the Eddy+. My primary use would be in the gym. The only thing with the Chute Mag for me would be needing to unscrew the top every time I wanted a drink. No big deal when between sets when using weights or machines when weight training. But this would be an issue for me when doing cardio on the Stairmaster. I suppose I could leave the cap un-screwed for the 30 minutes I would be on this. But with the Eddy+ I could simply leave the bite valve up and quickly and easily get a sip when I needed without the risk of anything getting spilled from the bottle when lifting the bottle and then placing it back in the bottle holder on the machine as could be the case with the Chute Mag. The only concerning thing for me with the Eddy+ is that some people say that the bite valve can be a bit leaky.

Oh wow! Thanks for alerting me towards the Eddy+ 👌 I’ve just looked it up and it seems cool. A bit pricier than the Chute Mag. Yep, as you said with the Chute Mag you can simply close the top without screwing it down to make it splash resistant, which I often do. But you’d still have to lift it up each time. Man, I really like the sound of the quickly-used bite valve! I’d be keen to hear more about whether it’s prone to leaking - because if so that could be a dealbreaker. Otherwise, sounds like a fantastic option! 🤩

Does the magnetic handle add a few ounces? I'm guessing it's not super lightweight?

Good question, KK! 🙏 I can honestly say I have never even noticed, or considered the weight of this bottle - that is to say the magnets do not make a noticeable difference in weight to me. I imagine they are very small, as not much force is needed to hold up the plastic lid. Hope this helps!

Maann...I've been trying to find a tritan water bottle which has a one button mechanism but just can't. Contigo is available in my country but only in 720 ml config. I drink a heck tonna water so 1L is my go to. In any case, how would you compare it to Contigo Cortland Tritan V1 (since there's a 2.0 now' not available here tho)?

Try the Nalgene. It‘s easy to open with one hand. But it‘s 0.7 liter

Hi Carlos! 👋 There’s no insulation properties advertised with this bottle. I generally keep mine at room temperature, so can’t attest to how long the cold water would last! 😁

G'day Big Foot15, you've got fine tastes! I've just checked for you, and this bottle DOES indeed fit in my car's cup-holder. Your car may be different though! So, I have measured the base for you at: 3 Inches Diameter, and would advise double checking against your own vehicle 😀
