Anish Kapoor is a sad example of someone who has to have an exclusive advantage over everyone else even though he has always led a privileged life. I'll bet his kindergarten record card had the comment "Doesn't play well with others." On the bright side, Kapoor the boor's bad behavior is fantastic publicity for your brand. I wouldn't have heard of your pigments and paints otherwise.

There is one and only one way to truly uphold the principle you say you are trying to embody. I mean that with respect, and put this to you because, well, you have overlooked something that has not one up'd Kapoor but only brought you to be inline, unfortunately. You must CC all the colors. You must open source it. To hold on to it and sell it to everyone but him is not any different than what he is doing. His work is crap anyway; I did better when I was 4 than what his peek has been, but that doesn't matter to no one, or would it have any effect to out art him. You must out business him, not by making loads of money with no one else able to make the same colors even though you make it available to anyone, but you must release it to the world so anyone could make the colors. You should still sell them, and you have the advantage of each release and even still should keep (and I agree that it's a proper punishment it is) the current ban as you can still put in the cc or os licenses when published. I took a look and didn't find the formulas anyway, so that is why I am calling out the flaw in the war. You keep killing it with color; hold on to it for like a year or something short, so it helps offset the R&D maybe, but open-source it all. Start the real movement. Side note, your work is letting me achieve a new technique that will be a bigger breakthrough than all the movements from the High Renaissance to Surrealism (sorry, I have little love for much after) all rolled into one. My technique that is in the works is a 5D oil painting. A hand-painted moving 3D picture on canvas with no need for external power that will last for hundreds of years. You helped make it possible, and I will be sharing the tricks to make it happen later, but I am sharing this bit of info in a show of solidarity to my calling out the need for colors to be open-sourced. To be freed faster than they can be tied up. Let's make art a test of skill, not availability. What do you say?

Helping my bf clean out apartments a few weeks back and stumbled upon an interesting looking box in a garbage bin... Upon further inspection it hadn't even been opened and it contained two bottles of black no.3 I knew not of any of this but the phrase not for bean boy kept sticking out and I had to know what all of this was. I had no idea of the back story I was about find...Sad to hear hes still being selfish As an amature painter I had no idea your amazing paint product(s)existed..
