Even tho Liz should’ve asked permission for the makeup, Clara was a little harsh on her. She was around nine at this time and just wanted to explore makeup like many girls her age want to do (whether they actually end up using makeup when they’re older or not). She probably knew her mother would say no if she asked so she did the only thing she thought she could do. It’s also not right that Clara compared her to Michael, comparing your children will just make them resent each other and make at least one of them think they’re not good enough. I do hope Clara apologizes for yelling at Liz and then promises to buy her some of her own makeup so she can practice with it all she wants.

Ngl, I have to agree with Clara. When a person’s in a stressful situation, sometimes they can’t help lashing out on people. I completely understand the fact that she needed to save money and Elizabeth was making that hard for her. Until Elizabeth raged, she didn’t shout at her either, so you can’t blame her for being annoyed when her makeup was smashed. However, she did go a bit too far, and especially in the future, I still hate her character 😌

It was wrong for Elizabeth to break her moms makeup kit and use it without permission but Clara was being dramatic and too harsh- and also I hate it when parents compare siblings to each other you can't just force somebody to be something they’re not.
