I believe this policy can be traced back to the 1940 NFL Championship Game between the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins. Sure, there are ways to get around being banned from such a large venue, but why risk it? With facial recognition software and camera tech advancing in recent years, security can better enforce bans of individuals than they could before. It’s not as impossible as you think.
