I hilbomb, I had a massive accident a couple of years back, my right arm, shoulder, upper back and hip are all scarred with road rash and massive gash scars. Getting back on a longboard was terrifying, and I felt like a rookie when I started to skate again, but go over it after a few months, so yeah, I get it

i used to work at chipotle and the main reason the food has gone down is the treatment and training of the workers id say. i’m in a different state but chipotle employees have gotten so fucking bad it’s insane, i worked so hard for them and it was never enough. the workers are stretched thin and then on top of that the managers pick favorites to be on grill, so the meat quality depends on the person cooking it, and they’re not always good at it or able to keep up with the rush.

A friend of mine recently got me into skateboarding. I have fallen 2 times, and my knee and left foot still hurt a few weeks after. But i didnt get a serious injury. Its real easy to fall if you dont have the balance, but as long as you take it slow and dont try to do any tricks or stunts right of the bat it should be fine.

I’ve been skating for 20 years and the first drop in marks the end for lots of skate careers. I’ve been 2 feet away and teaching someone that snapped their ankle. It doesn’t matter how much you tell someone not to lean back, they always do anyways.

i stopped skating after i fell twice and fucked up my face, and a few other falls with my arms and stuff getting hurt. after it was my face tho i just couldnt do it anymore, i rlly miss it tho and i want to get back into it.

Every single time I've ever eaten chipotle (4 times at 3 different stores) I have wondered why I even wasted my money. Every time the food is a mix of ice cold steak, heated tortillas a mix of temperature veggies, the chips are beyond stale, the ingredients barely even taste okay at best. I will say their queso is pretty decent though with the lime in it.

its not good to have youre only style be a pony tail. if you constantly apply that pressure to the front side of your scalp, it will slowly pull your hair line back. happened to a girl my mother knew who did that pretty much everyday of her life cause of her job and her hair line was back back later on in life. but i do agree that, that other guy was probably too old and never even really tried that before like that, especially the small ones that are really just meant for children. on top of not really readying yourself or preparing with stretches or anything. these guys were not at all on top of it, so its not wonder when you half ass something that can put you in the hospital then its more than likely going to. tdlr: prepare for things that you dont normally do (especially anything athletic) and constant years of pony tails can pull your hairline back.

It always sucks to see people give up on skateboarding from fear of getting hurt. I've been skating for 17 years and have had a lot of injuries but the pay off is more than worth it. Just gotta accept that getting hurt is going to happen in life no matter what, it just depends on if you want it bad enough to get hurt for it.

I'm about Charlie's age, and in the interest of not getting injured I have a longboard over a skateboard, What's more, I got myself some fancy wheels for the longboard that are *actual air-inflated rubber tires* with inner-tubes and everything. Of course I'm not immune to crashing (and when I do, so far I've fallen well enough to not be injured), but it's much more rare because the tires are basically immune to getting ground to a halt by small rocks on the path or cracks in the road. It feels like such a flex when if need be, I can straight up go off paved path and take the board through grass or dirt gravel lol

After i turned 30,.i was still skating, went down to santa cruz and was bombing this hill i have bombed before but was going with the wind, got to.muxn speed and.beefed it so hard, knees scraped to shit and had separated my shoulder in 2 spots....actually got fired from my job because apparently i couldnt work lol.
