2 minutes and you made your point‼ I was stuck between the 2016-20 340i 440i GC or the 540i i just wanted a 4 door BMW with the B58 the 5 has better features (mainly idrive7) the 3 can be found for cheaper and has more room for backseat passengers.. but the 440ix GC (M sports/premium package of course) is just the BEST looking out the bunch! I hate having what everyone has and I live in the tri state area so I see Alot of german cars. I hate the fact almost everyone has a BMW over here but I wouldnt want any other car! So the 440 GC is looking like the best option for me. I wanted idrive 7 because idrive 7 interiors are wayyyy more 🔥🔥🔥🔥 but ill probaly just stick with the 4 and upgrade the interior myself

For the interior the 540i takes it but like you said barely anyone has the gran coupe. Plus it’s the better looking sedan out of the three. But with the 440 atleast you still get CarPlay which makes the interior feel modern

Sadly one of the only option I don’t have is adaptive suspension but from what I’ve heard it’s is a slight difference that’s noticeable. Without lowering springs the normal suspension is pretty good with bumps.

My absolute dream car was always the m4. But i didn't know that there is no m4 with 4 doors. So i went to the m3. On this car i didn't like the rear and i wanted always the gran coupe look. So i bought me a 440i gran coupe and then i realize the potential of the b58 engine so even if there was an m4 gran coupe i would always choose the 440i with the b58 engine❤ the 440i with stage 1 smoke a stock m4 easily! Plus the m4 isn't really a daily car. So the 440i is a great compromise of sports car and a car for daily drive. My 440i have 434hp and it makes me smile every time i put the paddle to the floor 😂❤

Honestly the best version of the gran coupe is the 440 and with basic mods you are blowing everyone out of the water. Mind you at the same time you have a better looking sedan than a 340i

The F36, is a sportier version of the 3 series, you get the sloping roof line of a coupe, with better headlights and taillights but you do end up paying m tax on headlights since both the f80 and f82 utilize the same lights.
