I was never really sure if I was considered to be a Chosen One. “Chosen” seems to be a triggering word for many of us , especially when used with the biblical number of 144,000. Humble at our core .. this word is often looked at as being”special” . I'm not sure if I'm chosen or called but I feel a strong sense of being chosen. I feel it. I've always felt God in me...from such a young age and I didn't grow up in a religious home. Sure my mom told us God exists, but I think that's after me asking. And my aunt and uncle went to church, but they were the legit type that went to hide their sins and acted holier then my mom and others, would make me feel like the odd one and just out of place. My grandma passed when I was 5 and that was super hard on me...I was the last one she remembered as she ultimately died from cancer that spread to her brain. My biological dad took advantage of me from 6-11 s*xually and the last time he did was the night he beat me so badly he almost killed me. I tried to call my mom for help (they were never married or living together) and he cut the cord...I cried out to God and the next night my mom was there and in the end had to kidnap me to save me. That's when I knew God was definitely real and that He has a purpose for me. I wasn't sure what, but I knew I had a mission. Many times I've evaded death...I tried many times to commit suicide and never could succeed...God wouldn't let me and the urge of my purpose would just get more intense. I've tried running from it. No one could understand me. And most would get annoyed by my constant optimism. I've even been asked how I can be so positive and believe in God after such a rough and traumatic life (mind you I have not even come close to naming my childhood hardships let alone the ones I've faced in early adulthood to now even. And the more I acknowledge my purpose the harder it gets. The dreams I would have as a child staring at 9...I would wake up screaming from some of the reoccurring dreams...and ones that would last for years...in intervals with other dreams. I see through new eyes than I used to...I acknowledge I have grown spiritually in the past 4yrs and I have been humbled to my knees a few times as well. I thank God so much for the first real knee dropper...I needed it so I could get focused on my mission and stop running from it. I really don't know where I was going with this other than I feel I am chosen in my heart, but deep down I still doubt myself. The unnecessary distractions and doubt prevent me from truly letting go and fully knowing my mission at hand and executing it.
