@@steviewonder580 "letting people reach an audience" is quite different than ... propaganda, lies and misinformation, spreading hate and fear, intentional distortion of facts and reality, etc. Any network that attempts to portray itself as a News network, yet in court relies on a defense that it is an entertainment show and that nobody should believe them is simply a propaganda machine, not " a verbal back and forth". Furthermore, virtually every MSM broadcaster has plenty of opportunities for guests from the alternative side to appear and state their views. Granted they are more and more calling them out as liars, but at least they do provide the opportunity for "dialogue". On the other hand, propaganda machines like FOX rarely if ever have any alternative side guests on to provide "the dialogue" you talk about.

Their pointed use of adjectives and adverbs SCREAMED it... hardly any better than the yellow journalism of the late 19th century. Now, of course, it is MUCH worse but still propaganda... like it has been since the Dawn of Writing, some 9000 years ago.

@@richardc8795 In many ways Stelter is typical of many of the news reporters on the air these days such as Rachel Maddow and others especially on CNN and MSNBC. Nothing like a Huntley and Brinkley Report, Eric Sevareid, Lowell Thomas Edward R. Murrow or a Walter Cronkite Report, not that they were perfect BUT certainly gave the reporting of News a certain level of credibility which has been totally lost.
