"We" have seen it over the horizion for many years..some longer. Should still be a video or two in black and white regarding a vision of the future featuring atonomus vehicles.. There is a cartoon called " The Jetsons" from ages ago worth checking out to do with the subject matter as well. Concept and therory of such vehicles is alright.." but" not enjoying what looks like the whole miss a monthly payment and be unable to make it on time to work, or find a job for that matter. Not to mention higher fees and such..people driving taxi already in enough diffuculty due to ride share programs like uber.. But does kinda make for less costly cab fares in some places. The whole " freedom" to move thing is something I think will be what keeps a certian amount of personal vehicle sales going, but figure fewer will be able to buy them. Some loathe public transport due to crime and violance which plauges some cities public transport infrastructure from time to time..hence buying a car and not using such services.. If I could, would use such means like busses and trains, these new robo taxi's but would still like to have my own transport for them moments when you need to get away from it all or take care of personal buisness...yard work..hauling furniture between moves..etc. Never liked how the auto and insurance industries run things in terms of the whole " privillage" thing and how easy it is to have " your property" taken from you be it theft or some legislation that grants the right for cities, towns and law enforcement to take your wheels from you.. World is not perfect and there is always those whom do not adhere to the speed limits and/or break other laws regarding public safety when driving. These new E.V.'s and robo taxis..not to mention the future of long haul trucking as featured in the movie "Logan" starring Hue Jackman. They already use certian like minded atonomus tech in shipping ports to haul C Cans. Figure most of the changes will be a slow crawl politically, and best to enjoy what points are good in this age as we transition towards whatever future be it a success or complete faliure.. Figure I'll be riding bicycles clear beyond retirement and having to sub into a robo taxi program unwillingly if there is some sort of income avalible.

Homes 10 years from now will be designed the same way they are today.

What if I am late and robotaxi,will drive on over speed and can over take how the machines will understand. It will be on the road not metro train belt which runs on one speed.

@@Longtack55 I have many rules but a simple one is I invest in companies that return capital to the investor such as stock buybacks and dividends. I prefer companies that have a history of doing both consistently. Presently Tesla does neither. Also I stay away from cyclical industries like energy and automotive - Tesla is both. I stay away from companies that require a lot of CAPEX investment like airlines and automotive - Tesla spends a lot on factories and tooling (CAPEX). I could go on but these are some good examples.
