SO basically i will tell you the rivalry between these two guys Jaganmohan reddy and Chandrababu naidu, There names Reddy and Naidu are the two most prevalent and land owning rich farming castes historically and always sought for power and are at odds with each other politically. It starts with YS Rajasekhar reddy father of Jagan,He was the CM of undivided Andra Pradesh and passed away in a helicopter crash while in power as the CM,Many YSRCP members accuse Congress and Chandrababu of colluding to assasinate Rajasekhar reddy. To add salt to the wound Jagan formed his own party the YSRCP after his father's death(Father was a congress candidate),When Jagan was consolidating power and rallying his fathers loyalist towards him for the next election he was arrested and kept in jail for 16months for corruption charges. Chandrababu's play with power goes long back to the NTR era and is a very powerful man in andra politics he has served in TDP for a long time and has been a two time CM. Jagan mohan claims that Chandrababu had influenced CBI and arrested him on false Charges and there is a heated rivalry between both these parties. Both are corrupt and very very dirty but are on a totally different poltical spectrum. Chandrababu naidu(TDP) was one of the early adopters of capitalistic policies in India and are generally capitalistic with some necessary socialistic schemes,Chandrababu was always keen on starting massive infra projects with high budgets taking debt while on the opposite end lies Jagan who derives his policies from his fathers fundamentals,His father who rose in congress cadre has socialistic policies,Jagan wanted to bring his father's ideas into reality and is one of the most socialist leader in Indian history.He has driven Andra into debt with his extreme socialism stopped many of TDP projects and has not undertaken any big infra projects in his 5year tenure and not even announced much for during recent elections. My mother and father are from Andra so when i visit my native home there is a funny enough saying "Other politicians give us money when there are elections but Jagan gives us money for 5whole years" Its ludicrous money to the point where some farmers stop farming if they see the weather is not favorable and stop in certain off season where they used to plant before since farming would incure them loss they could rather just live of the schemes for farmers and not have any loss and have stable money. Some important ponts here: the farmers did not donate their land. They were to be given developed residential plots in exchange for their farm land. Till the time they get their developed sites back the government was to pay them a rent every year. This was paid till time Naidu was in power. Unfortunately policy continuity is something politicians do not understand in India. There was a guarantee - but in Indian democracy now, we have Kings for 5 years who rule as per their whim. Nothing comes in their way. Thankfully people can change the King if they want every 5 years.

He himself is a converted Christian. No one knows the reality regarding what extent these conversions took place, we need a latest census for that. India's last official census was in 2011. We will start a new census next year if we're lucky. Imagine how bizzare would it be if Hindu organizations from India start mass converting people in Europe and North America to Hinduism. Jagan have made AP the worst state. Naidu could have done wonders for the people.

Chandrababu naidu may or may not be corrupt, which is immaterial as a politician can't be in power without some corruption. Similarly, Jagan Mohan Reddy also have huge corruption allegations some of which have some evidence backing, and he DID become the richest CM in the country. This clearly tells, even though everyone can be corrupt, the magnitude, extent of corruption is order magnitude huger for Jagan. Now, coming to then actual issue, even if we ignore corruption charges on both of them, no other politician was as bad as Jagan. Main reason Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power is that his father was a beloved politician, and people naively thought son would continue the legacy of his father, and gave him one chance. Chandrababu naidu played key role in the development of Hyderabad and later whichever government came, they built upon the progress made so far, constructively, and YSR (Jagan's father) also developed Hyderabad when he came into power after Chandrababu Naidu. So, development never stopped irrespective of the parties. One side the party of Chandrababu Naidu was more capitalistic and economic development focused (long-term development), and on the otherside YSR's government was a little more inclined towards socialism, but never hindered development. Thus, till 2014 before the bifurcation, irrespective of which government came, it didn't matter to the general public that much, as either way development is not stopping and welfare is also maintained. But after the bifurcation, state lost it's crucial main revenue generator "Hyderabad" and is in revenue deficit operationally. At that time an experienced leader like Chandrababu Naidu was the only option to improve and people chose him. And he did start this capital Mega project and even accelerated works, but ultimately, things were nit as smooth with the central government, BJP and the support is not sufficient from there to carry it out completely. This took away Chandrababu Naidu's focus away from teb state and he was way too forward looking that he forgot to see the ground reality and short term goals. Alongside the inexperienced, Jagan mohan Reddy was in the scene asking for "one chance" based on his father's legacy... Even though state needs a experienced leader to handle deficit budget and bring about development.... And Jagan was the one who revived the caste wars with his allegations that "Chandrababu naidu only favors his own caste" which is totally wrong as many times he igniresbhis own caste people and he gives many top positions to a deserving people from diverse backgrounds. Of course Chandrababu naidu's caste people were economically prosperous in certain areas, so they developed in his time, but it's not because of favoritism from Chandrababu garu. But people believed these lies by Jagan, and Since, Chandrababu was too much forward looking, and was fully aloof of the ground reality at that time, he lost. When Jagan came to power, just because Jagan got arrested before because of corruption charges on him with evidence indicating his involvement, Jagan went on a eevenge spree when he came into power. If Jagan had the intelligence of his father, at least he could've handled things better by executing his "revenge" without stopping the development. But he wants to destroy everything, and stopped eavh and every projects, or welfare schemes of previous government. He wanted to wipe out any trace of Chandrababu. This was a mistake, as he was not only antagonizing the rival party but also people. His father was a socialist, but also balanced it with development. But, Jagan doesn't have the intellect, wisdom like his father. Jagan wants to distribute freebies without any development, in an already debt ridden state without funds, by taking more debt not for development or revenue generation, but only for freebies. The capital city is halted, all the farmers who gave their lands were done huge injustice. Employees at all levels were not getting salaries properly. Costs of almost every commodity increased, as the taxes has to be increased to compensate for the lack of money, debt and freebie distribution, without revenue generation. Bad roads, infra. Everything. The 3 capital thing was just foolish and Jagan just used it to divert people's attention , and then he trued to divide people different regions about making an already saturated, restrictive, geographically far away Vizag as capital, just for political reasons and no base for it. Yes, an alternative would be Guntur, Vijayawada twin city, but Jagan didn't even go in this relatively reasonable alternative... At least he could've done this, to compensate for the loss with Amaravati... , but he went for the absurd option, just for LoLs I guess, as he doesn't care about the people like he claims.. No other politician including Jagan's own father took the state in reverse direction, the state always has been in upward trajectory irrespective of the government, and for the first time, such a bad governance was seen. Jagan totally destroyed the great legacy his father had, with his ego and foolishness. His own sister the same person who worked loyally day and night to get him in power in 2019, is fed up with him and left his side, and is openly criticising him for his bad governance. I've always thought, anyway everyone is corrupt, so what's the difference... Mostly every governance is almost similar, and I didn't even vote in 2019 as i was not serious about it and i was busy at that time. And now I realised how important vote is, and i regret to not vote then, whether it mattered or not, As 2019 was the one election in the history of the state which had the potential to totally change the trajectory and future of the state... Unlike any other election so far, because a highly egoistic, destructive natured, inexperienced, hypercorruptJagan was contesting... The gravity of which I didn't realise at that time... As we were all fools to choose someone like that. And also those who vote based on caste or religion irrespective of credentials, credibility, skills, vision of a person, are the lowest of the low. And Jagan during his while tenure as CM, never appeared publically, never spoke with media or people, heck, his ministers and MLAs can't even reach him for months to discuss anything. Such a bad governance is never seen else where. The damage us not just Amaravati. It's much more. So many unconstitutional decisions, Safety and security issues, attrocities by the party workers of Jagan on civilians who question government or for asking for more facilities during covid, etc..., all time high fuel prices lot more than adjacent states, monipolizing construction materials, sand, destroying the livelihood of the manual workers who depend on construction industry, monopolizing liquor industry and increasing prices to astronomical levels which is diametrically opposite to their own statement of liquor ban in their manifesto, way too many idol thefts in temples , dramatic increase in number of churches, more stringent rules for temples to allot temple money arbitrarily for different projects, and many more. Specifically favoring his own caste people and having most top positions occupied only by people from his own caste (favoritism).. and then he openly lies and accuses about Chandrababu Naidu for caste based discrimination who actually always maintained diversity during that time and had only deserving candidates without favoritism. Many top companies shifted to different states because of the bad governance. Claiming he revolutionalized education by painting government schools or just by changing the language medium, without improving the actual quality of education. Creating a whole new system of volunteers parallel to local elected bodies, paying them salaries and using them for selective distribution of freebies to the their party sympathizers and compel people for votes on the basis of quid pro quo. The list is endless. On top of that, openly lying through his teeth, Jagan is a pathological lier... And all those lies are propagated through his own news paper and news channel, and people watching those will always be confined by thise lies and don't know any truth. Even though a certain news media is slightly biased, they generally try to report positives and negatives having at least 1% integrity. But zero negatives will be there in Jagan's own news media about him, which shows clear lack of integrity. People have to understand this. Debt taken distribution of freebies is always dangerous and unsustainable, where as debt taken for development will at least pay in the long run and is sustainable, even though it is little bit hard initially. That's why welfare is also important and has to be balanced with development and revenue generation... Which is crucial for us to come out of this. And now in 2024, the public sentiment is clear. Now, majority of the people may or may not want Chandrababu Naidu as CM, but majority of them definitely want to get Jagan off his position... And that itself shows how much one single person can do that extent of damage this person has done,.. thus, how important it is to choose the right person in our government, especially in a poor, developing Country like india... And more so in a debt ridden state like AP. Now that Chandrababu aligned with Modi, hopefully, central government will support the state to restore the state from all the damage done past 5 years and then move forward. It'll be very difficult job for Chandrababu garu to do this, but he is the only person with credentials, track record to achieve something like that.

Since decades (even before the bifurcation of the state), this debate has been going on which will be the capital of bifurcated Andhra Pradesh. Top 2 answers were Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. Also cbn had to choose amaravathi over vijayawada due to: 1) availability of huge vacant land. Visakhapatnam has very very few vacant land. 2) visakhapatnam is more susceptable to natural calamities like cyclone and tsunamis. remember hud-hud which caused almost 25,000 crore rupees in 2014 (inflation adjusted is atleast 50,000 rupees now.) 3) due to krishna river, availability of fresh water resources 24x7x365. So it is not a fraud by cbn to choose amaravthi over visakhapatnam. It is as per various research work done by big consultancies. ONLY AFTER KNOWING ALL THESE FACTS ONLY THAT JAGAN AGREED TO AMARAVATHI AS CAPITAL IN ASSEMBLY. If he had suspected any wrong doings, he should have refused support in the assembly right. but he did not. because he knows amaravathi suits well as a capital.
