Tell me who carries all those items to do that repair on hand

I think hacking out the insertion tool is a bit time consuming. I have used tire plugs that come in a repair kit with the tools for few dollars. I don't know if it's worth the time to make my own. And the tire plugs have never failed me. I wonder how long your rubberized cord will last.

After 90 years in the car repair industry, I just learned about this invention. Thank you inventor.
