Bayern is not the club to leave for "better clubs". So if Davies ever wanted to leave it could only be for another challenge. Otherwise I do believe he will be loyal to FCB, as he said, Bayern was always great towards him, and I do believe he is extremely fortunate and happy to be here, and vice verse.

Bayern is a successful club, but the big English, Spanish and italian teams are more globally popular. Given Davis admitted his dream was to play in the Premier League, give it 4 or 5 years and he will be playing in England, because they can pay him far more money and he would be an even bigger superstar playing in the most watched league in the world.

@@Delboy0 No clue where you got this idea. Bayern is an absolute top dog when it comes to popularity outside their country, MAYBE getting outranked by ManU, Barca or Real. Bayern manages to hold their players, pretty much always. Last Bayern player that left before or during his peak was Toni Kroos, not counting situations like Thiago, who wants a new team for the sake of change.

@@Delboy0 yea you are kinda underinformed, Bayern is a Top 3 club historically and he wont earn much more money elsewhere ... PL has more "big" clubs so if he would join Utd or City or Liverpool to compete in the Prem, I could understand that, but apart from that there is no reason why he would ever leave ... maybe if he is one of these "My dream has always been to play for Madrid" kinda guys but thats rly it :D Italy has absolutly zero pull to it, what would any young top player want in Seria A when he plays for Bayern Munich?!

United had the Chance back then, when he was playing in America. Now at Bayern he is in a much stronger Club then United. There is absolut 0% for United or another Club to get him now.

As FCB fan I can tell you all that FCB will always give their players better contracts when they perform better than expected or what they "earn". Same happened to countless other FCB players in the past and just shows them that their efforts are not in vain. I won't deny it's smart to do it early in fear of making other clubs eager to sign him. But they won't sell anyways so he would definitely stay till2023 even if he didn't sign new contract.

Yeah, giving compensation for being good is always a good incentive, whether that be better wages, better contracts, etc

They missed out on a huge opportunity because they dropped the broadcasting rights for Canada soccer when Alphonso Davies was coming up. Now OneSoccer has them and are thriving with Canadas rise to the 2022 World Cup

Nick Househ ,person that doesn`t know 5 pro clubs out of Germany. First time saw pro soccer game when he went to see Alphonso at Munich, kid that he bought while he was U13 .All to make he`s son Adam happy playing in successful team. If Alphonso was smarter to not be under this guy Alphonso will be caliber of Mesi,Naymar,Mbape .Alphonso left Vancouver as attacking player but at Bayern he plays defense because of skill that wasn`t develop while he was kid and that`s because of this guy.

I live in Edmonton...guy have absolutely no clue about soccer. He bought kid for pair of shoes and registration for kids team . Phonzy`s parent`s didn`t care about soccer at all and Nick "bought" him to make he`s son Adam happy wining some games that`s how this story became. If Phonzy was smart to avoid this clown he could reach way more .He`s potential was incredible as kid
