Respawn aren't the villains. They saw Battle Royales popping off and capitalized on what would have been a Titanfall 3, but almost guarantee it's EA pushing Respawn to to continue shoveling money into their money printer to print more money.

I don't think respawns the one to blame they have much love for Titanfall to this day. 😭

Multiple games they have abandoned because of forcing the devs to be done with a game in a set time. Or just greedy in general and push so many micro transactions it's disgusting. Anthem is a huge example. Great game idea horrible time release window. Gave them like what 5 years to have the game finished but they needed minimum 2 more to get the game where the devs wanted it. It was a normal weapon in the first game. It took 2 sec to lock on against players, but i loved it. They kinda removed it in the second game.

Yep my bro had a 70 inch in his room got the titanfall bundle I was hooked. Didn’t play any shooters since black ops 1 this game started my shooter addiction. Then came destiny, the division, and battlefield hardline.

ill never understand why advanced warfare was so hated, titanfall and destiny 1 are some of the best shooters ever, D1 might be my #1 tbh

@@mylesbowker2763 AW is hatter for many reasons. 1 being the boost jumping stuff the cod community didnt want it 2 paying out for kevin spacy 100% affected the game negatively 3 from what iv seen people who did play it were not happy with gameplay or game modes edit 4 forgot about the loot box stuff to it was the worse and also not wanted.

Hands down CoD AW was my favorite cod fastest gameplay we got it was fresh and new especially for cod. If I had to complain it would be about the loot boxes but I literally didn't care about as that wasn't my focus. Just playing and enjoying the new experiance was all that mattered for me. Playing for fun as video games were intended.

Pretty much anyone who's played Titanfall 2 agrees, it's definitely one of the best FPS levels ever made. Incredibly fun mechanic, fun level design that really lets you take advantage of said mechanic, and it all blends with the base gameplay incredibly well. Also it's just really cool.

Funny thing is, just two weeks after Titanfall 2 came out, Dishonored 2 released with a near identical mechanic for one level. Which honestly I find that game to be pretty underrated. I recall a lot of people just dismissing it as just the first game over again, but some really cool levels like that, and a lot of small improvements all add up to being the vastly superior game over its predecessor in my opinion.

I loved playing pvp in tf2. The fact what EA did with it's launch, making it fail from the start.. just so they could buy outright respawn and then come out with apex, which is shallow in comparison......

Which you ask me, I never get, Apex is set in the titanfall Universe, it is EA for why we don't have TF3, because all they care about is money, especially today with the battle pass changes

That’s the thing tho I always wish I could go back and experience being a new light again in destiny but unfortunately once you know something you can’t unknow it It’s so sad and I end up chasing that nostalgia Half the destinations being gone make it worse But it’s kinda a good thing too cuz the memories of being new will always be within those places If I could just go to them whenever it will taint that memory which is exactly what happened when they added the cosmodrome back Fun to come back to it but all the old memories of that place are gone or super hard to remember over the new ones and the modernization of things It’s why eras stay eras and if you went back with your modern perspective it would ruin it Basically points of time should stay points This is why time travel should never be done If I go back to 2010 I’m sure I’ll find it to be extremely cringe despite retroactively thinking it as a golden era of my life and in turn ruin the memories that are the 2010s Humans also remember the good and forget the bad with some exceptions hints why the term rose tinted glasses exist No idea why I went on this rant tldr I just miss being a new light but I’d never want to go back in time to be one unless I lose all memories of everything that’s happened after that time Aka I’m the same me as I was then and it’s not the present me going back with my present memories because that is what would ruin the nostalgia Tho it would be pointless as I’d never know the reason I went back and it just loops onto itself as the only reason I wanna go back is to re experience it but are experiencing things ruins them Similar to someone getting high for the first time and then trying to chase that same high but every subsequent high is never as powerful as that first one was Ight imma stfu now 😅

Destiny needs movement like this. They're almost there, but not as fluid.

The movement, be it in a Titan or not, had no equal indeed. However when I got to the pvp part, servers were hacked into oblivion and they stayed that way for months/years and I moved on

Also, the campaign alone is worth the money. It's so good! Best in years back then.

TitanFall1 wasnt nearly as good as most shooter games during the time it came out so people didnt really get to know the beauty of TitanFall2 since people either didnt have high hope cuz of the first game, or bc cod and battlefield were so much more well known and had bigger fan bases.

It is wild how this story has gotten twisted over time. They got fired because they wanted to make titanfall back in the day, activison convinced them to make mw2 first and then promised them they could make a new game. There was like a bunch of treacherous shit that went down including activision trying to get microsoft to break into their servers to look for evidence of wrongdoing so they could break their contract and not pay them out. I stopped buying activision games after the fallout of that story. Fuck activision now and forever.

Very true. Though the cancelled game was confirmed to NOT be Titanfall 3 and just a expansion of the apex lore. Would have still been great to get more games on the Titanfall universe

Simmulacrums, like Ash and Revanant have their consciousness in a database, whenever they die, their consciousness is just uploaded into a new body with all previous memories. So Ash in Apex is the same "person" just in a different body.

while they still are 100% passionate about Titanfall, its a misconception they are being forced into Apex, its just that respawn is ALSO passionate about Apex, just as much as Titanfall, and updating an existing game is A LOT easier then making a new one

True the devs are equally passionate about Apex but they’ve pitched and had separate teams working on a potential Titanfall 3 that got cancelled and when that failed they also tried a potential Apex single player game that EA also shuttered along with firing people to save money right around the time Apex Legends was in a slump. While not specific to EA their profit driven business model stifles a lot of their studios.
