Who says you have to stream 8 hours??? Stream 3 or 4. Consistency is more important than length.

It's more like streaming 3 or 4 doesn't feel fulfilling. It's like you can play a game every day for 2 hours and finish a 60 hour story game in a month. But everyone knows playing a story game just for a bit doesn't feel that good.

@@cool2984 No it isn't. If you can't cut RPG stream into multiple session that's on you. 2-3 hours are the average stream length. 8 hours is 1% of 1% How many people ACTUALLY have 8 hours to spend watching stream?

@@ZeroXSEED I'm not a stream consumer, so I might not know what I'm talking about. However, I was always under the impression that it's sort of the day time TV situation. As in you don't really actively watch it as much as have it in the background while doing something else. Like that Tyler1 clip when he gets angry about having couple k viewers but only about 700 of them actually responding in the straw poll, because 80% is not actually watching

8 hours is on the low end, it's often 12-16 hours.

I mean, tbf, streaming is their job (or at least for streamers in general). So streaming for 8 hours or sitting in a cubicle for 8 hours, there is not really much of a difference.

Gigguk regularly streams on twitch (about 4 hours per stream and mostly about anime) and his KZfaq channel still posts every 2 weeks. He just doesn't like to be a it continuously like most streamers lol

Eh, they’re well off forsure but idk about fully retired yet. The technical aspects involved with streaming a podcast at a professional level are fairly expensive. Not to mention buying a home at some point is a goal for these guys I’m sure. That aside, Ik Joey started a full blown clothing brand of his own recently so I mean like. They’re basically entrepreneurs. They work for themselves. Not really “retired” but they definitely have more freedom in the day to day than the average person.

Nah, Pewds is actually retired. He uploads family vlogs nowadays (which I enjoy) but that's it. The boys are still very much active though

8 hours is a crapload. Garnt shouldn't, in any capacity, feel like that's not enough. Doing that a couple of times a week is more than enough. But what I'd ACTUALLY recommend is just have shorter streams. 4-5 is fine.

Streaming really does become a bit unattractive once you get older. The usual 6-8 hours just seems too much for a late 20s-30s functioning adult. It's really crazy how Connor has been consistently doing it for years. Pretty much became a well known name in the streaming space in a short amount of time post-COVID.

Robcdee is even a madder lad. He streams IRL but always lasts 8-10 hours a day, for 4-5 days a week. Jinnytty as well.

Why are they taking streaming like a 9-5 job? Streaming was a gateway for people to LEAVE BEHIND the corporate slave chains, they need to ease the grind a little, dudes are gonna burnout. 2-3 hours are perfectly fine you bozos (with respect)

Yeah, I want to do a Game o Thon, like Beating God Eaters until the stream is done, And Bloodborne 2. But I will start to chill when I get FIBER installed. Last time, I played GO3, I stopped against the Black Dragons ,I'm so committed, I am willing to sleep on stream , I really give no sh*t if 1 or 100 watch. Have fun

ill be honest, i don't watch 8 hour streams, 3 is the sweet spot that actually respects my time. LOL I never watch Connors long ass streams, i wait till the vods come out and its broken up into parts that I can sort of pick and choose when I want to watch. Garnt now knowing you have ADHD, definitely do not streams multiple days in a row if the game isn't like a huge motivator. It will cause burnout, it just does, doing streams for 8 hours is so fucking boring LOL and thats what our brains hate is monotony. if you do 3 hours, every other day, like 2 to 3 days a week, that'll break things up and give you some sort of schedule while also not insta draining you.
