I wish you are safe . Vietnam communist party is made in China . Do not listen to the communist party says , but look deeply at what the communist party does. The China communist party is the red evil . The Legacy of Mao Zedong is Mass Murder , Mao killed , tortured and buried alive 65 millions of Chinese in 1954 called THE GREAT LEAP FORWARD to rob lands gold and to destroy the talent people who did not obey Mao. According to the authoritative “Black Book of Communism,” an estimated 65 million Chinese died as a result of Mao’s repeated, merciless attempts to create a new “socialist” China. Anyone who got in his way was done away with -- by execution, imprisonment or forced famine. In the same year 1954 , Ho chi Minh with the help of China killed 200 thousand people in the North of Vietnam called THE LAND REFORM. One millions of Vietnam from the North of Vietnam migrated to the south Of Vietnam with the help of France and the USA in 1954 ( when China created and took over the communism int the North of Vietnam)..Once again the BOAT PEOPLE ( 1 MILLIONS ESCAPED Vietnam when China and Vietnam communist party took over the South of Vietnam 1975 , THE FALL OF SAIGON ) .

I’m a Vietnamese living in the US for almost 50 years. During this time I returned to VN twice, 3 weeks each time. I truly enjoy seeing the changes and the scenery the I did not had opportunities to explore when young. However, after two weeks in …of the last trip , I could not wait to return to the US. We did not have good night sleeps due to street noises, home with no soundproof, air was dusty, noise pollution all day long that we could not read/relax, food was good but not clean (I got sick for a few days). Although things were cheap but the two tier pricing system which I hate, the inflated one for tourists vs cheap for locals. Traffic jams everywhere and safety was also an issue. I’m glad to visit my home country but can’t never live and work there (that’s separate subject that needs discussion).

My advice to you kid living in Vietnam. Know their superstructure, economy, culture, politic, best to learn their Language, eat their foods. The thing to stay away, drug and arms that's no,no. Vietnam is not a communist, and they've never claimed to be, Vietnams is socialist ( no body no exactly what a communist or a socialist ) to be exact, Vietnam is a state capitalist, plan, own and operates, they also have a private own enterprise by citizens and foreigners. Good luck to you kids and don't forget to come visit us, Laos.

@J D Very few people make $300k a year. If it was that easy, the poverty line wouldn't be $26,500 in the US...which is WAY less than $300k a year. Yes, there are opportunities if one chooses to take them, but apparently there are opportunities in Vietnam or something westerners want if they are moving there. Sonny from "Best Ever Food Review Show" is likely raking in millions now. Max McFarlin is getting them views - way better than Sonny when he had the same sub number. Vietnam Meets Dustin was killing it last year, but he wasn't as into making youtube videos for a while and didn't keep up so youtube algorithm went down for him this year. But let's get back to what those teaching make. I hear they make about $2k a month and that their average cost of living (a nice living, not a hovel and bad food), is about $500. That means they are pocketing 75% of their take home. You can bet many Americans are not doing that, even those making way over poverty of $100-150k a year.

Hi. I'm Vietnamese. I'm surprised that you two can't correctly pronounce the name of the city. Obviously, no one has told you this. It's pronounced more like "Da" "Nung" as in jungle. Then, you are close. It actually has the accent ~, which means to "dance" that sound. Since you teach, listen to some natives say it loudly and 5 times. I see you guys live there but you don't really eat what they eat and say what they say. Hmmmmm You can even learn Vietnamese pronunciation from youtube videos!

Dang it's Da Nung. Like nungnoi?
@channguyen8529
@channguyen8529 3 жыл бұрын
@@fishlocker. I didn't get that. When it's mispronounced, I can't understand. Pronunciation is everything. What does nungnoi mean to you? I can't find a word or two that might be written like that. When we text in Vietnamese and don't have the accents, we just write as it is without any accents or mods. For example, "Toi ten la Jack." It's properly accented: Tôi tên là jack. The word for "person" is "nguoi" (người). To "sit" = ngồi. The word for sunny is "nắng", which has an inflection up. That is not the same as the city Đà Nẵng, which has a squiggly or I call "dance" or kind of a rift. They sound different than each other. People from the southern part of Vietnam don't want to bother to pronounce all the accents properly. The northern are more true to the way it's spelled. It's all spelled the same way but the pronunciation can be slightly different in the different regions.
