Why Did He Shave His Head?!

Im showing everyone my process of a haircut from start to finish. There are many things in the video I recommend doing to all new barbers if your trying to secure new clients. My client usually wears a center part with a fuller cut on the sides. But in this video he told me he was joining the army so I had to give them the haircut that's required when entering the army. Great cut, but as others have said, that will all come off at boot camp. seems a shame. I'm never quite sure why the US forces always seem to shave a recruits head on joining. It doesn't happen here in the UK or with most European nations. Always seems rather brutal. I guess it's so everyone's the same.

He had nice hair prior to the cut, but I think he looks awesome with the buzz cut. However, if he's going to boot camp, all of that hair will come off on the first day. But it's possible he's ROTC and not going to boot camp. No matter--he looks good with buzzed hair.

So I have heard when he goes in regardless of what their hair looks like they will shave your head regardless.

no matter how good of a job you do, they're still going to send him for a cut when he arrives 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would love to have had the guy in the chair to give me a haircut. Like using the #1 guard on the clippers and just go ahead and cut it all the same length. A very nice and very very very very very short buzz cut. Like his only a whole lot shorter than his.
