Can’t wait to see that thing in action! One thing I did notice is what gauge of cable they used for the parking brake. I have seen so many cable components that are too small and have a tendency to break. That alone is a little thing that will help in the long run! 💪🏻👍🏻

Ha, totally agree with the decals! Those D-rings on the mower are a nice touch, I like that. I like the metal plates with the logo cutouts too. Sometimes, it’s the small things. I think the top speed is 13mph.

Yes you’re correct, top speed 13mph. When I recorded this video that stat was no where to be found. The logo cutouts are so sick! I hope that trickles down to all of their mowers. Thanks for tuning in buddy!!

I like the cut quality but now interested in the Wright ZK because of the power plant options. How is the cut quality on the ZK and is it to big for the small residentials (61 inch cut)? Thanks I value you input! I am from Greenville NC and solo owner/ operator. Long story but love it.

Those machines are drop dead gorgeous. So well engineered and crafted. I would of liked seeing a side by side set of photos of Before & After pics with and without the decals on your mowers. ;-) I would think that YES the manufacturers do it for 'Safety' but I believe they do it more so for their Financial Safety. i.e. Lawsuits I remember when I was a teenager in the early 1970's and my Dad acquired a couple of 1940-50's Self Propelled Old School Reel Mowers. Talk about an UN-Safe machine. (but Fun) No warnings. Only my Dad strongly telling me to pay attention because it will get away from you....lol

you're right, they did their homework and designed a great looking machine. A lot of the warning decals were repetitive and of course to protect company liability. That's a no brainer. We live in a day and age where we have to warn people not to do something that is common sense lol. Like "hey, don't stick your hand under the mower deck with the blades engaged!"

"Beefy" counter = 6, Mower looks really "Brawny". I've never owned a Wright but that thing has to weight a ton.. Good luck with the vinyl sticker 3/4 of an inch below the muffler. You definitely have the top of the line mower setup.. Love the videos.

I like how they keep the overall length down by not exagerating the deck front baffle area and keeping the front and rear tires close to the deck. I also like the integral wet brake and the lower center of gravity by inverting the clutch and hydro drive pulley on the crankshaft allowing the top of the engine to be almost lower that the top of the rear tires. I wish they had a double deck lift, reduced the tail swing, and lowered the operator seating position to be less like the Dixie Chopper high ride seating position.

You bring up many great points! Also, the seating position is higher due to the long travel suspension system. I too thought it was high, but after looking underneath the seat and also being on it there is really no more room that they could've shaved off. It's a much more comfortable ride than other ZTR's I've been on. thanks for tuning in, hope you have a great day!

Nice video as always! What made you move into a sit down mower? Was it a comfort thing? I have all sit downs, walker b and ferris. Never tried stand ons, they don't seem to be that popular where I am. Thanks for any feedback.

There were a lot of features that attracted me to the ZXT. I also did not need a dually stander anymore since I wasn't servicing as many retention ponds. I love a stand on mower and they're becoming ever more popular here. I definitely recommend demoing one.

Why do you use Wright as opposed to the other big dogs? Does Wright make a ZXT with a 31hp EFI motor? I like the features of this 40hp model but don’t need the extra power.

Hello, I chose to purchase Wright Mfg mowers for many reasons. The top two reasons were 1) excellent build quality and 2) dealer support. The ZXT is only offered with the 40hp Vanguard on all 3 mower deck sizes - 52, 61, & 72.

HOW IS THE CUT? IS IT BETTER OR WORSE ON DIFFERENT TYPES OF GRASS?

Vince, I've only used it twice so far and it's worked great. I can't speak on the topic of different types of grass because most of what I cut is fescue, Bermuda or weeds and it's been perfect. It uses the AeroCore deck from Wright Mfg and if you know anything about that deck, it's the same.

There are many factors that go in to that! Definitely demo first so you can make up your mind. I also uploaded a video to the channel a few months back about that topic, you should check it out!

@@coopershea2457 I would suggest visiting your local Wright dealer and see about demoing both a stander and ZTR. I think you would find out rather quickly which you prefer.

For your comfort issue, I believe Ed has mentioned that once you put dual wheels on there, you can lower the tire pressure pretty low because the weight is distributed along 4 wheels instead of 2. The dual wheels should actually be more comfortable.

Hey Nathan, I had duals on my ZK72 both air and Tweels. Dual rear tires are more aggressive on turf and cause more turf damage than a single rear tire. I don't want to put duals on the ZXT because the 26x14 rear tires are beefy enough. Thanks for tuning in!

With 16cc pumps it should go 13 mph in forward speed and atleast 6 mph in reverse.

It is a beast of a mower. How good does it handle on hillsides 5-15 degrees? I am moving back to northeast Tennessee in tri cities by kingsport in another year or two to look after my elderly 82 year old father. Thinking about buying me another nice zero turn rider to cut lawns for families in his neighborhood and older folks who go to the senior center that he belongs to. If I do not get a wright I might buy a ferris,hustler or a scag with shaft driven deck.

Hey if I built mowers I would put stickers on them as too many idiots in our society unfortunately need warning labels to keep tgem from seriously hurting themselves. I use to cut for 12 to 14 families every summer in my much younger years from 20's into very my early 50's. I enjoyed cutting grass. I didn't need a bunch of safety stickers to know how to safely operate a big commercial grade mower. My grandfathers taught me at age of 9 to 10 in the mid 1970's how to drive a riding mower and do so safely. It never surprised me that many people do not have enough common sense to operate power equipment. My dumb buddy put my 3w" walk behind mower down into a 3.5' deep dirch. Luckily both of us use to lift heavy weights so we're were able to lift the 450 lb mower out of the ditch. That buddy has a computer science degree and he knew everything about repairing vehicles. He just didn't have a clue how to operate power equipment.
