This was me for years. The white guy with the beard, cutting hair in Black/Haitian barbershop. Only had my friends and family as clients for the first month. So this one time the day before thanksgiving of course the shop is packed and I have my buddy who is mixed race and has wavy hair. I have him come in and get right in the chair and I blessed him with the crispy bald taper and the waves on spin. All of a sudden other folks in the shop didn't want to wait in that line any longer and hopped in my chair. And I SWEAR it was that day going forward my clientel just grew and grew and now 12 years later I have my own shop with so many different clients from all ethnicities and all walks of life. But I'll be honest if I had not worked in that shop for my first job I would not have learned to cut the way I do. I feel like as barbers we tend to cut similar to the barbers we worked with or learned under. For instance I do lineups with both hands when I'm lining the left side I use my left hand and vice versa and that's something my old boss did too. Whatever lol I'm ranting now. Dope cut keep representing for the bearded white guys with real fading and tapering skills. I'll be subbing to your channel as well. ✌

Most of us barbers will not ever experience that,and I've been cutting my own hair for 33 yrs. I've had it cut maybe 4 or 5 times by someone else in those years and it never panned out too good.
