ALTERNATE ENDING: • "Why Did I Say Okie Do...
Something a little different today! There's no denying that my Doki Doki Literature Club song has been a bit of a juggernaut on this channel, accounting for almost half of my entire view-count! And not long after I released the song waaay back in April, the wonderful guys over at Zamination got in touch to ask if they could produce an animated video for it.
8 months and a whole lot of hard work (from them, I had it pretty easy.) later and here it is! I'm super excited to be able to share this with you guys.

When I was way younger, I had randomly discovered this song, and I loved it. Had no idea what it was about, I just loved the animation and the style of the music. I’d forgotten about this song, but then randomly the other day I was watching a TikTok, and I heard the song “Just The Two Of Us” in the background, and immediately remembered this song. Although I didn’t remember the name, there was this one lyric that I remembered the most and it was “Just the two of us in this classroom in the sky,” so I looked up that and I discovered it again. Great song!

Fun Fact: If the original video didn’t get age restricted, it would likely be the most viewed video on Stupendium’s channel. The reason this is the most viewed is because it’s the same song, just different visuals, so people who wanted to listen to it on KZfaq moved to this video since there wasn’t really much of a difference.

Damn, this is great! It kept the general theme and some parts (such as "won't leave them hanging) serve as an almost 1/1 inspiration, but it does it's own thing, and it does it really well. The person who made it is really talented, and you guys are too for allowing such a great basis for an animation like this!

Just to quickly say, yes we’ve all seen the animation sin episode, but just appreciate the animation! Even though there were points being pointed out, I think they spent a while and that, and they spent a while to animate this. I live with animator as a twin, they animated 5 seconds in 1 month, and that is a long time for just 5 seconds. Honestly, it isn’t like the worst animation in the world so I think even though it’s old, it’s still pretty good.

I used to cringe at minecraft animations before i saw this. The facial expressions were on point, the characters were portrayed perfectly, there were so many little details, the song blew my mind with the perfect refrences and somehow the animation made cubes look smooth. I seriously did not expect this

Its a great animation except the clipping and the mouth glitch at 4:19. But most of the clipping is not even noticeable and the face glitch is only for a few frames. Its just a nitpick i honestly dont even care its a great song and an even better animation.

1:48 Notice how when the line changes because of Monika deleting Sayouri, the piano chords are Wrong, but when the story somewhat resumes, the chords are fine again. Cool detail that's kinda easy to miss :))
