I started listening to McFly as a kid after falling in love with Danny's voice and now, as an adult, I'm still in love with his voice 🙂

shame this got so less views. I wish you would do more McFly analysis'. I discovered them during covid, just browsing the internet. They deserve so much more recognition. Song writing, vocal skills, harmonies, with both Tom and Danny equally capable of taking the lead vocals, as a band they absolutely stand out IMO. Love from Germany.

I don't often really like a band on first listen. But I seemed to unconsciously make an exception for these guys, this song. Instant fan.

You're in for a real treat with the discography of McFly. It's a colourful bunch of songs with some 90s punk rock, 2010s synth pop, 60s Beatlemania and surf pop, theatrical pieces, and also some raw rock, which I believe is their core. But they have so many different colours to their music that we can't put genre labels on it all. It's just pieces of love, happiness, sadness, heartbreak, and pure joy. They have shaped me as both a musician and a person.

They're really good at writing dynamic music and developing songs that are multidimensional. All four are excellent musicians who love to create and perform - even some of their more standard pop songs from earlier on have complexity if you're listening for it. Would love for you to do songs with Tom and Dougie taking lead vocals to hear your thoughts. I can't think of any specific performances off the top of my head, but I like their concerts & live studio recordings a lot to really hear their voices and what they all can do.

I liked this song nearly immediately. I hear the 60’, 70’s and 80’s in this song. Great melody, voice, and overall tempo. It’s not a sad song, nor a happy song. I feel it has a universal appeal to it, with a theme that most of us can relate to. Thx Bethany.

This could've been my theme song. I traveled so much for work, to borrow a verse, "I don't know where I belong, Or where I've been coming from". And as might have been said to my Significant Other, "Did you even know I was gone?" Nice...

Same with me. I've discovered them in that movie and straight away fell in love with them. At that time. Me and my gf went to the cinema but haven't planned on which movie to watch. So we just picked whatever suits our time. That moment was kinda special to me. Years after that when we're not together anymore. I shared the I've got you song on my fb and she commented, this is our song. Haha idk why the hell im writing this here. Hearing u said that u discovered them in the same movie just brought me back to that moment. Probably 17 years back. Been listening to them till now and glad that they still make such wonderful songs. It's weird tho till this date, they're still underrated. Wish i could see them live.

I love McFly. Saw them first when 5 colours came out and they were teenagers, I have followed them since and their music just gets better and better. So happy McFly is being rediscovered. I would suggest that when you do go through their catalog, when you et through their McBusted era, go watch their documentary called "All About Us" here on youtube. I feel it was a huge turning point to how they are as a band now and how it changed how they write music.

I just recently found your channel and started watching it. I love the way you seem to become an instant fan when listening to a singer you've never heard before. It's like, when you listen to it, you can't help but get caught up in the emotions, you know what I mean? The lyrics are deep, talking about dealing with loss and stuff. James Blunt really knows how to lay it all out there and make you feel it. It's like he's taking you on a journey through his heart and soul. Did you see McFly lead singer Danny won the 2024 UK Masked Singer show?. Could be worth a run of reactions.

There are too many reaction channels by 'vocal coaches' that either just sit there and listen to the song i.e. Adding nothing and stealing views from artists or use it as an excuse to show off their own singing (annoying AF) Or just stop the song every 10 seconds to say OMG. I love these reactions that actually comment and teach and I wish you would do one for each of the three singing members of Mcfly. I think it'd be fun to contrast and compare their styles and how they use their voices and specifically I'd love it if you did 'walk in the sun' at Royal Albert Hall by Danny.
