Erik ten Hag has extended his Manchester United contract until 2026.
Ten Hag's future as United boss had been in doubt at the end of the season but the club decided to keep the Dutchman and he has been given an extra two years to continue at Old Trafford.

No manager in the world will start an ageing 38yr old in Evans and a midfielder in Casemiro at the back 7 times in a row due to injuries without getting battered. How ten Hag finished 8th and still won a trophy 🏆 with united with 33 defensive combinations due to injuries that’s the most in Europe top 5 league this Season. How he stayed that up is a miracle, he deserves a second chance. We real united fans are backing our manager until the end💯

For those who forgot history, when Sir Alex came to collapsing powerhold, his tenure as a manager for few years were absolute turmoil. Man Utd finished 11, 2, 11, 13, 6, 2 during his first 6 seasons before premier league was launched. Although I think that back then Ferguson was more promising (breaking two man league in Scotland and beating RM to European glory with Everdeen is something people denote because they are so focused with his Man utd years) than Erik as an Ajax manager, Erik needs time to rebuild team that was destroyed by terrible board members and constantly changing managers. He proved his worth by winning a FA CUP in a injury prone season. Erik deserves a second chance and Man Utd fans need patience

ETH will be in charge of United for another 2 seasons. Thats merely it if results dont go wayward. Despite a show of confidence, 2 years is not enough of a runway to win the PL or the CL. I still think that he will win a few cups but to win the PL will take more than 2 seasons and that is if they still see him as the man for the job 2 seasons later.

Mr.Monta77 He's actually over-achieved with the squad & injuries he's had, & the mess around the club. He's been the 2nd most successful post-Fergie manager after Mourinho, & a lot of Man Utd supporters regret sacking him now. It's also rare that you see a manager fight so hard to keep his job, especially when Bayern Munich were waiting to take him, so he's the right man for Man Utd atm.

The truth is if we had lost the FA cup final, EtH would be gone. Yes he’s been let down by the infrastructure around him. But that doesn’t excuse the absolute turgid football we’ve been playing this season. Nor do the injuries, Chelsea, Villa and Newcastle suffered a similar amount of injuries and still finished higher than us. Our style of play is absolutely awful. We brought in the best ball playing goalkeeper to then play direct, counter attacking football. That is solely on EtH.
