ये गाना जिस तरह से बना था रफ़ी साहब के सिवा दूसरे के बारे कंपोजर सोच ही नही सकते थे और जब रफ़ी साहब ने गया तो मनोज कुमार या पूरी फिल्म के दर्शक कोई इस गाना दूसरा गा ही नही सकता, ये लार्किश ये गम ए इजहार इज़हार ये बुलंदी सुन कर दिल में मनोज कुमार शरमीदा हुए होंगे ही, ifrarity complex के शिकार हो गए थे

Every became famous from Rafi Sb songs at their young age & peak but few of them didn't continue at some point of their career like Monoj Kumar, Rajesh Khanna (his early film started with Rafi sb songs & even Hati mera Sathi was big hit due to Rafi Sb last song).. then at their 40s they lost their stardom & fallen back to ground from sky.. but then went back to Rafi Sb to revive their fallen career..

Manoj kumar B class ka hero tha, Dilip kumar A class thay. Manoj kumaar ek racist tha. Jo Rafi k ganay ga ker hee mashhoor hua. Raj Kapoor ki Tarah siraf Hindu singers ko hee preference deta tha yeh jantay huaay k Rafi sahib jaisey jadoo wali aawaz puray hindutan tou kiya puri dunya main nahee thee. Puray hindustan kay log oon ko bhagwan ka darja detay thay. Rafi say koi muqabla nahee ker sakta tha. Main khud kishore k ganay sunn ker jawan hua hoon. Rajesh Khanna may have chosen Kishore Kumar as his playback singer but it proved to be a regrettable mistake. Films such as Haathi Mere Saathi, Choti Bahu and Shehzada proved that it was Mohd Rafi's song that came out on top every time. It was a fact that Rajesh Khanna too had realised hence Mohd Rafi's songs for Rajesh Khanna near the end of his days.

Firstly this theme Rafi against another singer is wrong.Both were great in their own style ;voice & hit songs.This vdo theme is spreading gossip.as both singers would respect one another.I am a great fan if Rafiji but mukesh's voice suited Manojkumar more like kishoreda- Devanand- Rajesh Kha na etc etc

SD, Kishor ko Bangali honeki vajah se Dev ke gaane dete the lekin sangeet ke bade jaankar hone ki vajah se Rafi Sahab se zyada sundar geet gavaye. Yahan tak ki classical song bhi Mannadey ko refuse kar Rafi Sahab ko diya.
