One of the realest friends another fighter could have in the sport. Man is undoubtedly the next guy up for title but he chooses to let his friend enjoy the spotlight bc he knows his time will come. Absolutely great interview, I love how you and the MMA community gets along so well. You know how to get people to open up and feel comfortable.

It’s adorable you think that. Sterling is manipulating him and holding him down. A real friend wants your success and plenty of fighters that are friends have fought eachother. Merab’s window is closing rapidly. Sterling knows Merab is better and would win. This is the same guy who acted his way to getting the title in the first place, then fought two guys who had both been out for years instead of legit current contenders.
