If Bedrock and Java will NEVER have Redstone Parity, then _why_ did they feel the need to change the Copper Bulb tick delay to match Bedrock? They're so inconsistent. :/

Maybe this the start of a trend regarding little and large updates? I mean it's not like we had two updates with different names back to back before. I was really thinking we weren't getting new music discs in this update, they were revealed quite late after everything else, so more trial vault loot? Also the Breeze should totally spawn in the windswept biome variants(WS hills, savanna, taiga, etc), those environments are perfect for their bouncy and chaotic fighting style.

breeze is meant to be a structure-only mob kinda like the blaze. neither spawn outside of their respective structure, which is probably meant for lore

@@hhff8534 Then what about the Bogged? That was added to the Trial Chambers like the Breeze, it replaced the poison tipped normal skeletons and they spawn in swamps. I don't see the downside of allowing the Breeze to spawn in a (fairly uncommon & unheard of) biome that fits the mob's climate, like the Bogged fits the swamp even though they were both created with the Trial Chambers in mind.

The cape will probably be only available on the anniversary's day, and if people had MONTHS to migrate yet only around 4 million people have the migrator cape right now, and if EVERYONE got the chance to vote yet only around 200 thousand people have the cherry blossom cape as of now, i don't think the creeper cape will be the most widely available.

People had three entire years to migrate Like I feel sympathy for whoever didn’t migrate, but I also understand that they shouldn’t be mad at Mojang it’s entirely on them for not writing their email down or what not yes Mojang could have kept the ability to migrate for far longer but they still would’ve had to end it someday as Microsoft would force them to eventually

Using bamboo as your wood source is going to be a problem as in order to make a block of bamboo requires a crafting table.

an idea i've had for a while to fix more complex parity features like redstone is a new tab on java and bedrock in the world creation/edit screen, where you can go through a list to toggle whether you want the java or bedrock version of a feature? it would probably take a lot of development time, but would at least satisfy the entire community for once

They have released stuff early before. Village and Pillage came out in multiple updates for Bedrock. They started with 1.8 (aka the Cats & Panda update) Months before the Official release of Village and Pillage, with some bits of Village and Pillage with more in 1.9 and 1.10 with 1.11 being the official Release version for bedrock. Though that case is probably special as I guess they were just trying to bump the Bedrock version number to be closer to Java

This might sound funny but I would really love to see Redstone acting a bit more like wire. I even have a fairly simple and viable solution to this involving dyes, copper or other metals, and lapis. Basically you would combine whatever metal ingots and Redstone to make wires. Then you could also potentially combine dyes and/ or wool to insulate them to designate a signal.

IDEA: What if they released "bluestone" essentially, on bedrock it's all the redstone blocks but working like in java, and in java its all the redstone features but they work like in bedrock. This would add complete parity in the game without messing with people's existing redstone builds on either platform.

I feel like this is the first time the content from the Vote came before the actual update that it was supposed to. Like correct me if I’m wrong but I feel each vote has been directed apart of the next major update where the armadillo and dog armor and new dogs came in a 1.20.??? Rather than 1.21

I think so they can focus earlier on what they added in the april fools update because some of these items will be in the update next year, maybe in a different form

I have no clue if this could fix the redstone issue or if it would even work, but what if they introduce a new type of redstone dust that does the quasi connectivity that redstone does now while removing it from base redstone. The new redstone could be made in whatever way seems fair, but how I envision it is have the redstone block be crushable in stone cutters turning it into strong redstone dust or whatever you wanna call it. Again I don’t know if this is the only difference between the two and if this potential solution could even work for either version.

I've been playing on my survival world for 4 years now, and I've tried converting it to Java but there's something about Java, and something about modding that really takes away from the game. It seems that when you focus more on modifying the game than playing it you lose sight of what's important. I've noticed that you critique that part of java a lot in that bedrock doesn't necessitate mods for performance etc. essentially what I'm asking is, being aware of these parody differences, how do you stay committed to bedrock? Thank you for all that you do you're a massive inspiration, and I appreciate you :>

Precipice is definitely the Half and Half copper disc, and the the 2 different "Creator" songs are the 2 different copper discs. Gotta be! Can't think of any better songs from the soundtrack.

The trial chambers are a perfect example of the loot i want out of a structure. The only advice i can give mojang is to focus on other mechanics in new structures and give similar loot in those structures.

I had a bug kill me in the nether. I saved, quit, and reentered. Somehow I fell through several layers of netherrack and landed on a silgle block in the middle of a lava lake. I lost everything except for 2 sticks and a pork chop.

Fun fact to those that keep saying “these updates don’t have enough stuff” Caves and cliffs is what happens when Mojang attempts to add too much stuff in one update So here’s the deal if you want larger more impactful updates then you’re going to have to wait at least more than 2 years per update and a majority of the community doesn’t want that the people that do are in the minority Mojang has found the perfect balance between tiny updates that add barely anything but can be spammed throughout the entire year every other month or so to a yearly medium size update with content the majority will be happy with

To me, I like to imagine the reason Mojang chose Tricky for the update name is because of how challenging the trial chambers are. The other two reasons Agnes gave of 1.21 being themed around tinkering or quirkiness don't really stick with me nearly as much, especially with 1.21 not having much emphasis on tinkering. If I were in charge of coming up with a name for 1.21, I would've called it The Update of Many Trials. It reminds me a lot about 1.7's name, The Update that Change the World.

One thing I’m a little upset about this update is that they didn’t really do much with copper. Yes, they did add more copper blocks. But most of them are decoration blocks. And are pretty expensive. Yes, copper is incredibly common. But it is annoying to smelt them all. Plus, they all spawn in trial chambers. So you don’t even need to go mine for copper. And with how annoying it is to smelt. It would be preferred to get them in trial chambers instead of mining them. So what I think they should do is change the crafting recipe for copper blocks to how they use to be crafted back then with four copper ingots instead of nine. Or, have copper blocks be crafted with nine copper ingots with copper bricks be crafted with four. Also, copper ore should be less common but spawn in larger veins. Also also, I think some crafting recipes like powered rails should be replaced with copper instead of gold. And by the way why the heck did they not add copper goat horns?

What upsets me the most about this is that cooper is so incredibly useful irl for circuits and stuff, it has so many possibilities yet we just have decorative blocks, It doesn't make sense that they would add a whole new ore just for that, I can't help but wonder if they still have something in mind, and I honestly hope they do

1.20 & 1.21 were good Updates but not that big. So it is possible, that Mojang is working on a giant Update since the past 2 years. I think, that this is either a Dimension Update OR a Nature Update, which will Release at the End of this Year!

i've watched you on and off for years now, it's funny regardless of how long in-between videos without fail in every video you have to justify why you play bedrock over java and little bits of why you think bedrock is better than java, i'm not sure if you need to feel like you have to constantly justify yourself or if it's a bit at this point but lol at least in the videos i've seen

actually no- this pattern started with 1.13 notice: 1.13 - Update Aquatic 1.14 - Village and Pillage (1.15 is too minor to count) 1.16 - The Nether Update 1.17-18 - Caves and Cliffs 1.19 - The Wild Update 1.20 - Trails and Tales Every other major update they've been switching from __and__ and something else honestly 1.21 tricky trials is reminding me of 1.15 buzzy bees

I don't think armadillos or dog armor was ever advertised as part of 1.21? I don't get why this would even be a issue, we got it early, 1.21 having armadillos or dog armor instead would just mean already completed content was held back. we would've gotten the same amount of content either way

People complained about updates taking too long, we get part of the update early, people then complain. People complained about updates not having a specific theme, they split the update into two main separate groups, people then complain.
