Surprised to not see Mileena's Kahnum Dash. It removes her Roll which takes out her entire combo potential while also removing her combo ending KB. All just so she has this new low slide which does very little damage even if you amplify it twice. You can deal better damage with just amplifying her Sai Throw. The dash cancel is also not fast enough for Mileena to actually do anything. The other characters' awful attacks don't need to be used once you equip them but Mileena is closed to being ruined for taking Kahnum Dash as it actually takes away her own tools.

Kotals attack is actually pretty usefull, if you use his wheelchair variation, then it his every time, but I would still pick the "roll over your grave" move instead.

Sub zero's cold shoulder I think plows through projectiles and traps leaving you unharmed. Also swap it out for that move skarlet has where she holds the knife to her hand and hurts herself more than it hurts the opponent. Glad custom variations took care of that problem, I used to always cancel into it by accident because kombat league present was almost the exact same as my custom.

Shao kahn up wrath hammer on paper is a thing he should absolutely love on block it is one of the few things he has that keeps him safe the problem is the second half of it takes so long to come back down that he eats an uppercut, meaning he gets hurt more then you do for the trade, if anyone at all knows the move. As a Shao main I'd love to see that move come back down faster it would be a way to finally be safe besides using stuff that is flawless blockable.

I use cold shoulder on one of my more used sub zero variations cause I love the brutality.

I really hope someone at nrs heard you about kitanas base moves being Dookie. I don't know why they haven't fixed them yet. How many more complaints is it going to take. Her attacks are too slow and she's the only character in the game I believe that lacks a basic startup overhead. Instead of fixing the issues they nerfed her wth.

It's a shame, because Edenian Fade is dynamic to look at and wouldn't look out of place in a movie/series choreography.

Another bad thing about Sub-Zero's cold shoulder is that it doesn't combo if the opponent is way too low to the ground and you lose combo potential on the corner since the normal slide is pretty much a launcher there.

The Sheeva stomp and any move where characters use their asses as a weapon are without doubt, the worst.

Edenian Twist has one use and that's for the opponent to block it. This move does more damage on block than hit (7% on block) and it's actually safe provided that you end a combo in low fan toss and use the knockdown time to do Edenian Fade and fall low to the ground. Not even Sub Zero's slide punishes this. You can also whiff the close dive while in the air for a fake out because it has instant recovery on whiff.

Kotal burst soo situational that you can't even use it to fry eggs.

Edenian fade might actually be useful for dodging sheevas off screen jump(can't remember the name) but it couldn't counter it due to the enemy being right under you

I don't mind much about the moves but what really pisses me of is the dmg difference of crushing blows. Some characters blows can take practically half a health bar while others barley tickle the opponent

Cold Shoulder does have some merit to use compared to Slide that is left out. It packs more damage especially when amplified, it doesn’t switch sides when amplified, and it also leaves you closer to the opponent then the enhanced slide. Basically, the slide seems to be a more versatile move. But the shoulder is a better move for combos.

I think Edenian fade is an anti-kounter attack. By teleporting above the opponent, it avoids an imminent attack and kounters back. Could be a decent playstyle

I forgot that Edenian Fade existed. I used it once and said nope. It wasn’t even good before the day one patch. Cold shoulder should also absorb projectiles.

Cold Shoulder: amp on hit has KB attached for getting a Kounter/punish giving 30% flat damage for something so simple also does more combo damage than slide has brutality attached to good anti-air when spaced correctly Personally i believe that perhaps you've treated this move too harshly, Mileena's low sai is much worse

I won with cold shoulder the other day just because the opponent was probably used to low blocking subzero. I didn't have cold shoulder equipped though so I'm still not sure why I had it on in KL

I'm reminds me of Glacier. On Armageddon, she had blue hair, ice arms, and ice sword. She used speedy lizard, water teleport, freeze ball and cold shoulder. I could only make eight characters on that one. Had Raiden's flying torpedo, scorpions spear and Noob Saibot's teleport slam.

Sub Zero's shoulder gives him more combo damage as an ender in comparison to his slide. I wouldn't say it was bad by any means. People just abuse slide because of the onlinery of the move, it's not used because of it's strength. F2->slide is much easier to block offline.

Edenian Fade sounds like another way to jump.

Cold shoulder is amazing. You don't need slide if you equip creeping ice. You get the 50/50 without slide.

Kotal’s useless move is probably for protecting yourself from sheeva stompers

Honestly if they wanted to make cold shoulder okay, just give it the same properties as Kotal Kahn’s Kat, where it goes through projectiles.

Bellowing Banshee just looks cool lmao

Cold Shoulder is useful against Sheeva since it lets you avoid the normal and directional stomp, but leaves you close enough to punish with a full combo. Slide puts too much distance between you and Sheeva. You can mix-up the forward dash (which avoids the normal and delayed stomp) with the Cold Shoulder to shut-out all of her options. Add Creeping Ice to your loadout to cover your low mix-up (also is waaay safer on block compared to the slide due to pushback, especially when amplified).

Bro if you combine vile sorcery with enhanced corpse drop and ermac you get 500 plus damage. It definitely is not bad if you know how to use it.

God i only wish that Jacqui's bionic bounce and Cetrion's rock wall but unfortunaly newb players(and yes i also do include those pro players) love playing these characters cause they're barely ever nerf.

The drone could be a strong move if it worked like Zato's "Eddy" from guilty gear.

in my humble opinion and for me, sindel's worst move is the "real trap", it doesn't do much damage and it doesn't last long and also the opponent dodges it very easily, the only good thing is that it pushes the rival away

Shang Tsung's vile sorcery is a great option to add if you use the soul swap guaranteed 15-20 hp damage
