They're the only group or singers I've ever stan. No one comes close to them-their talent, their visuals, their dancing and most importantly their humility. They still drive to improve all the time despite being vocal GODS! Watch their live performances. They outshine any Grammy performances-period. I know I'm late....but Exo is the real king of Kpop. You give them any genre,they nail it. Be it in vocals,dance,acting,modeling....Exo members are always top. Their company did only one good job, that is they put THIS MUCH talented members in one group who after tolerating so much mistreatment, going though so much things....still going strong after 11 years. They deserve the respect they get in the industry. The new gen idols consider them as role model,as they should. If you are into real music, you gotta love them. Each member is precious and really talented. Exo probably has the best vocal trinity of kpop ChenBaekSoo. You can check out the title tracks they're great, but the real magic is hidden in the b-sides. Enjoy as much as you can,these boys never disappoint.

Thank you for reacting to EXO ! They're nine members (8 Koreans, who are in this MV, and another member who is Chinese) and they debuted in 2012. The members are (the oldest to the youngest) Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun. They are the king of vocals in Kpop and also the fist Kpop artist to have a storyline. Basically, they are aliens (who have superpowers) from EXOplanet and they are fighting the Red Force (if you want to understand more their concept, you should watch their debut called MAMA, both versions). They used to be 12 ( 3 more Chineses) and were divided into 2 subunits (EXO-K for Korean and EXO-M for Mandarin), that's why in their previous years, they always had two versions of same songs/albums/MVs (in both languages). In 2014-2015, they lost 3 members, that's why they're now only EXO. Currently, they have (plus the full group), two subunits (a trio called EXO-CBX and a duo called EXO-SC) and 7 soloists. This comeback is their first one in two years because, since 2019, the members are doing their military service (Kai is doing it right now but had the chance to film this MV before his enlisment). Also, we don't have their whole new album yet since "Let Me In" is a prerelease, but the rest of their discographie is incredible too! Chanyeol is multitalented and plays a ton of instruments. Minseok has a doctorate! Chen is a husband and father (and so proud of it). Suho, DO, and Sehun are all actors! Lay produces his own music and has his own company! (He was not in this song.) Kai is just the biggest teddy bear but a phenomenal dancer and singer. Baekhyun hits incredible high notes. They are the best! I love them.

Hi! Just to impart w/ you, I was not into Kpop before. But when I chanced upon EXO, their vocals touched me the most. So in Kpop, for me, it's just EXO. This is the idol group that ended the 12-year drought in the Korean music industry when their first full-length album, XOXO, sold over 1M copies in 2013. EXO is a top-tier, multi-talented group, so versatile that singers can rap, rappers can sing & all members can dance impeccably. Each member has different range & sound but all blend perfectly. EXO are the realest. The kpop that you know today is a result of EXO's legacy. I wanna say more but it'll be alot. All I can say is they're the real, totally unpromoted, bullied by their company, kings for me.

EXO has a whole intricate Lore that has been meticulously laid out. The fandom constantly has to work out the plot. Last song DFTF was their alternate personas X-EXO destroying the Earth, in this MV the real EXOs save the planet from them. None of us caught it until this vid. All MVs are linked in some way. Linked to EXO planet lore.

There are a ton of theories to explain what is happening in EXO's "Let Me In" MV, but what makes the most sense to me is that the lyrics are all about EXO's connection with their fans and their teaser images are connected to EXO's powers and storyline. For example, Kai says, "Here I am and everything I do for you is for us ...", which I see connected to the fact that his power is teleportation and it's his job to travel wherever the other EXO members and fans are in order to connect all of us together -- plus, it also could be connected to the scene in their "For Life" MV, where we see a sign that says "You Were Here." Xiumin's teaser highlights the line, "For long-lasting love, I will freeze my heart," referring to his power of frost. Baekhyun says, "To the Future with us who resemble light," referring to his ability to control light. Chanyeol says, "Don't worry if the darkness approaches, I will shine the light toward you, which could refer to his fire power, etc. D.O. also mentioned in their behind-the-scenes video that the "Let Me In" MV is a worldview of EXO's lore. If you watch the MV carefully, when time rewinds, D.O.'s notebook showed that he knew the meteor was going to hit Earth. We saw in his notebook that he drew a picture of the meteor, which seems to show that he already knew it was coming. And as the MV goes on, it's revealed that actually all the EXO members knew that the meteor was on a collision course for Earth and that it would hit at that exact moment. One theory is that EXO is traveling through time and space and they are trying to prevent whatever happened in the past from repeating itself, or they are trying to stop or reverse what happened from happening in the first place, etc. The whole "Let Me In" MV has a feeling like they all are aware of what is happening, as if they have been through this hundreds of times, but they haven't been able to do anything about it yet. The story in "Let Me In" could all be a big reveal of what they were talking about way back in their pre-debut "History" lyrics and MV, because in that song they talk about wanting to prevent history from being repeated. "History" is about failing at something and trying again to make it right. The theory is that in this part of the story EXO made some sort of unknown "big mistake" on their planet, so they have been sent to Earth to try and right their wrongs by trying to prevent the Red Force from causing a "big mistake" or prevent humanity from allowing a "big mistake" to happen on Earth. Which now we may have discovered, is the meteor that crashes into Earth and destroys humanity. In "Let Me In" we see Sehun and D.O. sitting at the same outdoor cafe, and they make eye contact but they don't interact because it's thought that EXO are supposed to be going about their tasks on Earth incognito, and so they don't want to be noticed by whomever might be watching them or to reveal their location to the Red Force, etc. Some speculate that when D.O. and Sehun are looking at each other they are silently questioning whether they could use their powers to save the world. But, as we see, D.O. chooses to walk away and let everything happen because he knows nothing they have tried in the past has prevented disaster, and they have no better solutions at this time. We also see Sehun sigh and continue talking to his friend, even though he knows what would happen. We then see D.O. pause and stand there, watching Sehun and possibly thinking about what is about to happen. In the next scene, we see Baekhyun is standing at the exact spot where he knew the meteor would hit Earth. We see that everything is dark and void of light, which seems to indicate that he is unable to use his power of light and he is unable to stop the meteor as he watches it hurtle toward him. Then we see that as the meteor hits Earth, the end credits of the movie that Chen was watching started playing, which possibly could be happening in the movie theater we saw Chen and the other EXO members sitting in in their "Love Shot" MV. In "Love Shot" we saw Suho trying to prevent the members from watching the video by covering Chen's eyes. The scene with the end credits seems to be saying that this is the end of the world. However, as we see in the next moment, this was where time rewound and, as they say in EXO's "Call Me Baby" MV Pathcode teaser videos, "The beginning = The End." However, there is something more going on with Chen in the theater, because when Xiumin entered the movie theater, Chen squinted at him. Something seemed off about this scene. If you notice, when you see them laughing together, they seem to be watching a replay of a scene starring themselves before the meteor hit, but why? Another thing to note is the references to all the rocks. The ones we see the members have seem dormant like normal rocks, until time starts rewinding, then they appear to come to life. The interesting thing is, we only see Chanyeol, Suho and Kai with the rocks. This may symbolize that these three had already experienced the meteor hitting the Earth at some point, and they each kept a fragment of it to help them remember in the future or in another time period what had happened. (Kai, Suho and Chanyeol were also the only members in the "For Life" MV.) When the story focuses on Chanyeol, it looks like he may be standing at the epicenter of where the meteor may have hit the first time it struck Earth or he has traveled back in time to right after the meteor first hit Earth. He looks confused and alone, which seems to parallel his "Call Me Baby" Pathcode teaser and he's recalling what happened. Then we see the stones start to float once again, which looks like it might be the pieces of the original meteor being reactivated like they are coming back together as time reverses. This also reminds me of D.O.'s power, which is the manipulation of Earth elements that give him super strength. In some of EXO's early teaser videos and concert VCRs from the early days, we see that D.O. is able to use his power of force to take giant rocks and use them to stop missiles from hitting their targets. So, was D.O. involved in helping to prevent the original meteor from causing destruction? And nothing in an EXO MV is ever random. For example, I think the child throwing the rock at the beginning is shown for a very specific reason. Many think the fact that he throws the rock is meant to be a metaphor for how the meteor wasn't a natural occurrence, but was actually caused by something man-made. As part of SM's Culture Universe storyline, it is thought that the underlying message the story is trying to address is all the things that we as humans are doing wrong that need to be fixed, such as war, hate, the destruction of the environment, governmental control, greed of money, etc., which is revealed through the interference of the Red Force and their influence on humanity. Therefore, it is thought that someone or something has directed this large rock toward Earth or caused the rock's trajectory to be directed toward Earth. There's also one scene in EXO's "Lucky One" MV where we see Kai in space with lots of meteors, which could be a foreshadowing of things to come. Therefore, some now think "Let Me In" is taking place after EXO has escaped in "Lucky One", which could explain why the members no longer have the ability to use their powers in "Let Me In". The Red Force stopped EXO's ability to use their powers when they were experimenting on them in "Lucky One". We originally thought that the story in their "Ko Ko Bop" MV took place right after "Lucky One," which would explain why they were loopy and unable to control their powers in "Ko Ko Bop", but since their "Obsession" MV part of the story was introduced, we now think that "Ko Ko Bop" is actually all about X-EXO's storyline, EXO's alter ego clones. That's why it is now thought that "Let Me In" is where EXO's story picks up after they escape in "Lucky One." "Let Me In" also could be taking place in conjunction with "Obsession's" part of the storyline, because we see the world being destroyed at the end of "Obsession." Maybe EXO are rewinding time to try to prevent whatever happened, in order to stop the destruction of Earth, which could be caused by the battle between EXO and X-EXO or the Red Force, as we see come to the boiling point in "Obsession". Also, notice how when time was turned back, only Xiumin and Chen -- the only members of EXO-M, EXO's Mandarin Chinese sub-unit, in this MV -- who were in the house, rewound, and everyone else stayed where they were. There are two theories to explain this. Either they are in parallel universes where they can see what is happening, or maybe one of them or some of them aren't EXO members, but they are an X-EXO member in disguise. In another scene, we see time rewind and the rock that Suho had disappears. We think that could be because the "disaster" never happened or hasn't happened yet. Therefore, it is thought that in this reality, EXO must be the only ones who know what happened in a previous time and place because the timeline has been altered or changed. Something must have prevented it from happening, or has changed the events which lead up to the meteor striking Earth, etc. As the time reversed, it gave them another chance, but they have to relive it all before they can figure out how to change things. The most interesting part of this MV storyline is that there is no eclipse or sun in the video. An eclipse/sun and moon are where EXO gets their powers from. Some speculate that this means that in their next MV there will be an eclipse, which will allow their powers to return. It's pretty clear that the EXO members are unable to use their powers in "Let Me In" because, for example, why wouldn't D.O. just use his power of force to break up the meteor and why would Kai need a car if he is able to teleport wherever he wants to go?

When you were describing your interpretation of the MV and song, it reminded me of the song Parting by Onewe. It's that same scenario of wanting to be with someone at the end of the world. EXO has a storyline that relates to this video about them being aliens with superpowers. I see the video as them using their powers to save the world.

I've known kpop for a long time (since shinhwa days) but I was never really deep into kpop until EXO. I actually pre-ordered the EXIST album and starting collecting their previous albums. All their songs are great. You won't regret! They're really great live, there are plenty of concert videos to react to. I would say stay away from the Japan ones since they get blocked.

Welcome to EXO planet! EXO debuted in 2012 and have had a massive influence on kpop and made/broken all kinds of records (for example they were chosen to represent their country for the closing ceremonies of the Olympics hosted by Korea in 2018) But I am sure you'll get all kinds of details from other EXO-Ls. I would just say, it really all comes down to the music. They have a stunning and expansive discography and their concerts are simply legendary. I hope you enjoy your journey

Wow... i impressed with your sight... you're genius, the fact you are just first time watching EXO, you grasphing your though with just once watching the MV, while many youtubers is confused😅, yes you're very right with your insight.. the mv story very much methaphore for many insight, but they make it's simple methaphore as if the world come to end, despite you're facing that alone but later you feel regret and lonely, or you facing it with your lovely one or your family, friends, etc together without regret. So many message in this music video..

Of course you would fall in love with their voices. They are known as the vocal kings of kpop. They don't recommend EXO coz they are afraid to admit that EXO are the legends of kpop. Loved your sincerity.. so glad you finally found them.. the vocal kings of kpop.. it's never too late to stan exo u know.. u just meet them when you need them the most... try watching other exo songs and to know them watch EXO showtime, travel the world on EXO's ladder, their live concerts.. fanmeets, etc.. u will love them for sure

I got into k-pop in 2018 when i saw EXO's Tempo video. They have soo many awesome songs - even the bsides are amazing hits. lol. Happy listening❤

All their mvs are interconnected, they have a line and it makes a story, what story? It’s up to you. There’s a million of versions of theories trying to explain it, but we just get more and more confused. You have to watch all of them in order from debut date to get what I’m saying. The exo storyline goes back to the debut mv What is Love which you def need to check out. They are aliens, coming to earth while being pursued by the Red Force their enemy. They were caught by their enemies and cloned giving birth to the x-exo concept u see in Obsession mv. The best part they have special powers ie wind- sehun, light- baekhyun, kai-teleportation but in this mv they seem to have lost their powers maybe? But u also see someone maybe chanyeol reversing time and saving earth from the meteor. Almost all their mv are inter related to their storyline. Have fun knowing them❤

I strongly suggest you to listen to their b-side tracks. Literally every album!
