Why do I need multiple WSGI behind that nginx? Isn't it enough to make more worker and threads?

So if I have flask app, that must send json to front, and front on js with fetch api, and they both on nginx server, I can just configure my flask app to be on the same domain but with /api/ ? But in this way users can make requests to my api, but I don't like it(

That’s okay. Secure your api with some authentication. Find some tutorials on jwt or basic authentication
