The West has this "political correctness" movement where people can't even say what they want for fear of offending others.

I really enjoyed this. You both were very honest in your description. I’m from the US and I live in a very multicultural area with much diversity. Many people here, like me, can appreciate the beauty and cultural differences of so many people. It is unfortunate for those who live such sheltered lives and are not exposed to these differences.

In Taiwan we also have a funny impression that hot foreigners especially white guys always date or marry an Asian woman who is commonly believed to never be able to get a man locally, yet here's an attractive blue eyes man with blonde hair holding her hand and kissing her. This happened around me as well. A good looking white professor with high education was dating his young student. The girl was overweight with small eyes and a piggy nose. Those traits happen to be the opposite of attractiveness over here. But her English was outstanding. So I always believed that those hotter girls usually spend time on their appearances and are less engaged in school so they can barely speak English. And the good girls who don't spend much time on makeup and plastic surgeries spend more time studying. Foreigners would date who speak their language well while most local people don't speak their language. Plus sometimes it's the local girl who initiates the relationship. That was what happened to my professor and his way-to-young jealous girlfriend who would follow him to our classroom and sit in there to watch him so no girls could get him. So sad but the fruit you have to pick by force is not gonna be sweet. Also, foreigners are usually more forgiving on the appearance. I can look at my ugliest and my white husband still think I look good. So I don't dress up anymore after marrying him because I moved to the states and no one really cares if don't wear makeup.

I'm originally from Eastern Europe and because black men were so rare there, they were seen as exotic and always had tons of hot girls around them, no matter how old or ugly (I mean of course younger ones had a bigger selection of hotter younger girls). It wasn't about money either, more often than not they weren't wealthy or anything, it was all about that 'uniqueness' and mysterious exotic difference that attracted the attention. The only problem is that local guys don't like that and can get quite racist and aggressive.

I'm a tall, lanky, blonde guy. I went to Indonesia and got TONNES of attention. I was in a club in Jakarta, and a tv show was filming there and they pulled me aside because they wanted to film me, to be in a reality show that was like the bachelor. I couldn't do it because I didn't speak indonesian. The host kissed me on the cheek, though. I just wanted to stay there and live with that status forever.

You guys are spot on. I am a white New Zealander and I lived in China for a couple of years and I have lived in other Asian countries. My wife is a beautiful Chinese lady from Singapore. Actually, it is not really that you have adopted Chinese norms, but an understanding of the culture, becoming used to the differences and the ability to read people gives you greater discernment. To some degree I found the same thing with some of the European cultures, especially the French and Swiss, Eastern Europeans and Scandinavians. I found the British, Germans, Italians, Finns and Dutch the easiest. In my travels I found most people I met were welcoming, warm, friendly, curious and were well worth the effort to get to know them. I bet you guys have well developed instincts and know when to follow them. After all these years I am still learning a lot.

I know many Western men who are with Asian women, in multiple Asian countries. They overwhelmingly go for the "villager" look (short stature, pan-flat head, wide nose, even bad skin, bad teeth, tiny eyes). I think it might be the "exotic" thing they go for. These replies are idiotic. Most people use a chin mount because they are better than the other views and provide the best POV experience. Also, it's out of the way (Can't be hit by anything.) and you can just about see the red light if you look down to know if your GoPro is recording or not without having to take off your helmet.

If there's a term trophy wife in the west. In asia we have trophy husband. A lot of women would want to marry white men especially so that they can have light skin, blue eyes, blonde haired baby. We would call it 'fixing the bloodline' These biracial kids would be in demand in the entertainment industry as models, tv drama actor/actresses, beauty pageant contestants etc. A lot of woman would be a white man hunter for this purpose.

I have lived in S.Korea for 11+ years. I think many of your observations are spot on. It takes a while to acclimate to beauty (both physical and of character) in a new ethnicity and culture. Eventually you do, and realize how people "back home" don't have the aesthetic "vocabulary" needed to identifying an "attractive Asia."

As a black man, i already knew that Chinese woman have a preference for white pale skin, because they have pale skin. Its all part of that beauty standards. Asians and Whites have more relationships in general then Blacks and Asians. Most blacks would call this racism or whatnot, But blacks shouldn't be worried on what Asians look for and what they like. Blacks in general, including me should appreciate how we look, we are unique in the way we look and talk and our personality.. If black people can get around with white people and latino etc etc people then what's the problem?. Some Asians here and then have black fever, but that's not compared to the major preference of white skin in white people, that's okay! :) This is Asian culture.. Good video guys :)

I personally think that out of everyone (Winston, C-milk, Prozzie, Sasha, Vivi, etc.), Vivi got the short end of the stick and the biggest bait-n-switch. I bet when she first met C-milk, she thought that C-milk possessed some wonderful attributes. He had all the qualities any girl would swoon over. Being tall, handsome, educated, spoke great English but also was making a great deal of effort to learn Chinese. And of course, he comes from a wholesome family, has white skin and clear complexion, and he's from a great country known as the land of opportunity. What girl wouldn't want a guy like that? Who wouldn't want to pass those traits off to their children? She thought he was a total catch! Now fast forward a few years. Did their fairy tale story end in "happily ever after?" *No, it ends in terrible tragedy. Now she finds her self waking up next to a vape smoking dude with a **_MANBUN!_*

One thing I have learned over the years is looks are just a part of the attraction you feel when you meet someone but once you get to know them and understand their personality also how they treat you make a giant difference on the degree of attraction you end up feeling for that other person. You end up attracted to looks how they treat you and how well you mesh with each other. No one cares if how you as a outsider in that relationship actually feels about how your wife or girlfriend look. You are not spending 24/7 with them they are. Everyone looks different and I honestly believe that there is someone out there for everyone if they just put in the effort to look hard enough. I think that one person's idea of beauty will always differ from another persons definition of beauty. Being different it what makes the world go around.

I think the treatment thing is the biggest part. Because in an article I read, from the POV of a woman who had a degree, the men she met were essentially "upset" she had a degree, and spoke english well, and they essentially said she wasn't "unflavored yogurt" how they prefer the woman they want. So If you are a woman in China, and say, a guy comes along from a culture that actually does try to connect with you as a person, you know, shows interest in your interests, and treats you less like a blank slate for him to put whatever his expectations are into, that's a lot more appealing to partner with. I know Hispanic women/Latino women struggle with a lot of the same things, where in the culture a wife or girlfriend is just a thing you acquire at a certain age, if you're a man. And they're largely seen as interchangeable. There's entire pockets of American culture like this as well, and I see it a lot more in rural areas and the american south, and much less in cities or urban environments. Like Plenty of women where I live in Rural AL got married not because they really loved a guy but because he has a job and is moderately successful, rather than being someone who shares passions, interests, and driving forces together.

Personality is where it's at for me. I've met plenty of drop dead gorgeous women, who turned out to be super ugly because of how shitty their personalities were. I've met fairly average looking women who I've wanted to kiss simply because they have fantastic personalities. As much as I am attracted to a good looking woman, a personality is going to be what makes or breaks it for me. Luckily, my wife has a fantastic personality, and is quite beautiful to boot. By the way, neither of your wives are ugly.

I think it’s all relative... I lived in China and I did notice a lot of white guys with Chinese girls that other Chinese guys labeled as unattractive... I think though even if a Chinese girl doesn’t have the small features Chinese culture favors and she may have a big nose and big lips, it’s okay But I guess what I can take from this video is that being slim, having long hair, being feminine, and having clear skin really overarches facial features to men I did like this video

It was also a major culture shock to me to hear about all the men who sleep around outside their marriage and my wife was very distrusting for a long time, but I think I've convinced her that she's my other half and she has nothing to worry about. Her skin is a little more dark than their standards but I find it beautiful and I had to explain to her that here in America, women fry themselves to have her olive colored skin. Love your videos, hope we can visit China some day, but I really enjoy Taiwan a lot. Beautiful country and nice people.
