For me, over the years vitamin B complex, magnesium, good sleep and good hydration have always improved my headaches too.

I do wish I'd seen this 8 years ago. I've had bad headaches most of my life. Almost 80 now. A few years ago I began to get interested in vitamin D3. My daily headaches have all but gone. Still get a few migraine with vision disturbance. Also my chronic sinusitis and asthma have cleared up. I was on cpap but discontinued it thanks to the Philips foam debacle when I found I didn’t need it. All I do for sleep is to lightly tape my mouth closed. The section on aura was interesting. Mine first started age 40. Time to traverse my vision field around 15 to twenty minutes.

Covid 19 is affecting patients’ sleep pattern. Lack of deep sleep, high REM (vivid anxious dreams), high light sleep leads to exhaustion, fatigue. Headaches is a common symptom - like a tight band/ sore & tight necks - and they are regularly reported by Long Covid patients. Nothing helps - Amitriptyline/ Nurofen/ Paracetamol. Meanwhile sleep is still a problem. This video makes total sense in relation to the Long Covid headache symptoms. Can better sleep, increased melatonin help?

I take Effexor XR 😮 for migraines. It works well but not 100%. But I had headaches everyday without it. I live on the east coast and every October the headaches come back. My cycle of headaches are aura sometimes, headache, then I feel like I was hit in the head with a bat 3 days ago. The initial pain is gone but it hurts to concentrate, think, move my eyes, and that can last for days to weeks. Until the cycle started all over again. If I stop the Effexor I get a headache instantly, brain zaps, like concussion syndrome. Effexor has been a god send but not a cure. Effexor’s constipation side effect lasted about two weeks. OMG like passing concrete with rebar in it. And I sweat like Ric Flair in a cage match.

Improper sleep cycles 😭 If you're not getting into the correct phases of sleep, you're not getting all of the benefits of sleep. My sleep is awful, something I'm desperate to repair.

I have dreams with headaches then wake up with the headache. It lasts most of the day then goes at night. I have sleep apnoea and I'm more likely to get these headaches if I don't sleep enough hours with the CPAP machine.

Simple migraine fix 1. 200-400 mg magnesium glycinate or citrate/day 2. Hydrate with water 3. Minimize caffeine 4. Stop table.salt.and switch to seas salt
@SimonCookeXbox3 жыл бұрын
Doesn't work for everyone, and you clearly didn't watch the video. That much magnesium/day can lead to gastrointestinal issues, including persistent abdominal pain in some people, and other potential imbalances. You're better off drinking mineral water. Vitamin D3, for what it's worth, is involved in maintaining water balance in the kidneys. What you're recommending is basically modifying hydration levels. (Which is why caffeine reduction works; contrary to popular belief, in some people, coffee is a strong diuretic - and it's not necessarily the caffeine that causes the effect).

Magnesium Glycinate does not impact the GI tract as much. Has more of an impact on the mind. It is more absorbable and gentler on the stomach. Also, if you take over USDA in Vitamin D3 you need to increase Magnesium, K2 and zinc.

Magnesium causes some migraineurs to experience worse symptoms! It gives me numbness and tingling in my arms and face with increased pain.
