It's not about affordability, being treated every once in a while is nice. But it's not 1950 anymore, women have their own money. Back then the men paid because the women had no way to afford such things. It's also different if you are a stay at home mum. But any working women with an ounce of understanding of how equality works should not INSIST on having her food paid by her date.

I think people should lay off Jasmine. Everyone has different standards and wants in a relationship.
