You may have heard it first in Spiderman: Far From Home, but I gathered a few of my Italian coworkers to explain to me what the common Italian word, “boh” really means. Big thanks to everyone who helped!! :)

Where are you from? ➭ Born and raised in Michigan, but I’m currently studying in Florence, Italy

What’s your favorite animal? ➭ I am glad you asked. It’s a two-toed sloth. And yes I am biased against three-toed sloths (sorry not sorry). //

Although the "F*ck off" aspect isn't really there 😅 It's more like "Dunno", "I don't know" and/or "I don't rally care (to know)"

Yeah but... Ok i am italian and we use boh only for Say "i dont know"

I mean, my teenage students used it all the time and the vast majority of the times you could have easily substituted the English 'dunno', or 'no idea'.
