Why do May's combos make NO sense??

Listen. I can respect May players. But May, the character? Random. She don't have ANYTHING that makes sense to me, and don't even get me started on that dolphin bro. We out here today trying to finish May's Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator 2 combo trials. Also I react to the news of Sony buying out EVO here too

Wish they would have made May work more like she did here. Dolphins still a huge part of her kit but it feels like you really can't do anything creative with her in Strive except mix dolphins in with punish poke and then combo with some variance of S, 2S, 5K, etc. and throw in a dolphin here and there till you wall break them.

3:20 j.H is the best button, until you fight good people. Then it easily becomes her worst button. I'm legit trying to break the habit I have of always relying on it, because it's such a bad button at higher levels.

@@kuzunohaxiv7912 It doesn't work anymore. It loses to almost every other jump normal. If your opponent whiffs, it's a good punish since you can almost always combo off a counter hit, but good opponents won't whiff moves easily. You will almost always get hit first when trying to air to air and it's extremely susceptible to 6P upper body invulnerability, so it's not good as a air to ground either. The speed to range ratio on the move is just terrible, though it does have a good arc and very good hit stun. It's just combo fodder at that point.

It is kinda like that but when you stick with the game it's usually easier and easier to play other characters due to your extended game and mechanic knowledge. Focusing on 2 or 3 to begin with is definitely a good idea.
