@@brandonpurdy7658 Like hands, feet, cars, scissors, knives, medications, and myriad other things. Should we ban them? Motor vehicles, doctors and nurses kill more people every year than guns, and that individual stats, not the two combined. And what about the millions of lives SAVED each year by guns? At least 2.5 million lives saved every year by defensive gun use. That's ten times more lives saved than killed by doctors and nurses (250K) annually, which is WAY more than murders using firearms.

The real reason why we support it is because we’ve seen first hand what happened to those that didn’t have it. They’ve had a bit too much heat and he’s being a little too safe in his explanation. Has nothing to do with sleeping with it or it being there every day. If it comes to it you use it but there’s a realization when you give someone the ability to fight back.

As a civilian who has grown up with firearms it's incredibly alarming that others don't care about the 2nd Amendment. If most people weren't so divided and filled with hate. Guns wouldn't be a problem in the slightest. It's all about personal responsibility, nothing more and nothing less.

@@brandonpurdy7658 if you look at the gun ownership in the US, yes most are actually responsible and law abiding citizens. You've been tricked to think that the majority aren't by the media. Take a look at H.R 1808 going on right now and tell me they aren't trying to take away rights. If you actually followed this stuff you'd see why so many people are reluctant to give up an inch...even though they've already taken a mile.

We vets want the 2A because we know the power of our government and especially if they go bad on us which they are ..I myself went through basic airborne and Rip then battalion… I wouldn’t go anywhere with out carrying … it’s why I will never visit NYC I can’t carry

The problem with firearms today, if you want to call it a problem, is they're a mystery to many people, maybe at least 50 to 60 percent of the population. People fear what they don't understand. But let's change it a bit. Can you imagine if the mass murders were being done with cars and trucks instead of firearms and laws were proposed limiting people's ability to purchase cars and drive them? You'd hear screams from one end of this country to the other because EVERYBODY drives, or they're planning to someday. There's nothing mysterious about cars so people wouldn't accept draconian restrictions on the same. It'd be political suicide. Speaking of mass murders, who's Darrell Brooks? Remember him? I'll bet you don't.

I think it’s funny how people adopt someone, something, a company, organization, slogan or whatever to their own personal beliefs while the adopted has no clue…. Then they turn around and pout if they feel like they’ve been given the shaft. NOBODY gives a damn about your feelings. Just your money. The whole team sport approach to all of this isn’t working obviously. Especially when nobody knows who’s gonna shun them the second they say or do something that’s gonna offend another sensitive American. Combat vets support other combat vets regardless of their differences because none of you morons EVER clued in that’s it’s about everybody you meet and interact with getting the best out of any situation. If all else fails at least you got each other and we’re just eating our own. Freakin idiots

Because our military responds to conflicts all over the world in countries (that don’t have a 2nd amend) where typically their governments do horrible things to their people………which is why we respond in the first place.

Because violence can befall anyone…like it did to Kyle…and people have a right to defend themselves if/when it does…like Kyle did….which BRCC did not support… Because I support innocent peoples legal right to self defense I support the 2A and because BRCC did not support Kyle Rittenhouse (a clear cut case of self defense) I cannot on good conscience support BRCC or their back peddling PR attempt at some kind of redemption…

40B to Ukrainian Estimated 2.5 million combat vets That’s 16 thousand for each. As an able bodied vet I would give my 16 thousand to someone who needed it. I’m also not an outlier with that thought process however I didn’t want my tax money going to Ukraine and I don’t want it going to a system that would be abused.
