Did you complain to Allah though? Because, he would have taken care of the issue. Thats an offer we muslims have because we are not allowed to abandon islam due to oppression. Many of our beloved prophets had to go through that and when they had enough they raised their hand and hell fire came down. Personally, when i was young and someone hurt me and i complained to Allah and he died a week later. A lorry rolled through him and he got pasted on the road. If i remember correctly, it was so brutal, even i cried. So, since that day, before i complain i make dua for that person/thing to go away. And if it doesn't, and i have to complain about someone, i always put some humble conditions to make it less brutal. So, try it. If someone hurt you, prophet said, there is no barrier between you and your lord. So, take them out, and fear Allah. Fear him ALONE. He is more than enough,trust me. Even for our prophet, Allah was going to destroy taif just because just threw stones at him. So, Allah is enough for us, as he is our protection and he is our saviour. I love him.

I don't know why men have this stupid idea that women dress up for them when it has been proven by multiple surveys that women actually dress up to show off to other women and get their compliments. Most men don't have any sense when it comes to dressing up and make up. I wear makeup (yes, the natural no makeup look to make myself look presentable to my work. My work place is an all-women facility, and I wear makeup every day and they admire my dressing and I compliment theirs. And I wear a face veil while commuting so no man sees what I look like. I guess these mysogynists are just jealous of women, perhaps they have been rejected by the women they wanted a little too many times and hate their guts. There are nice guys out there too, who don't feel insecure in strong women's presence because they are themselves strong and confident and don't need to "assert" their dominance by showing condescending behavior to women. Remember, how our beloved Prophet Salallahu Aliehi Wassallam respected, honored and loved women.

Even though your purpose was to impress your female colleagues, if there come a situation where an attractive male glance at you or ask you out, you will see your intentions changing. You now wants to please him. But maybe no one asks you out. So you will never know.

I stopped wearing makeup years ago because it contradictes the concept of hijab. I came to that realisation by myself. No scholar asked . Later I read about it and knew it's haram to wear it in front of stranger men

As a man I genuinely don't understand makeup. I don't get how anyone can be attracted to kissing a an unauthentic, fake rubbery face. As a husband anyway most of the time I won't see the (potential, I'm not married) wife in makeup as it's always worn outside the house. So how can you justify beautifying one's self for other men? My dream is to also constantly read Salah with my wife. Impossible if she's constantly caked up. It's a ridiculous poisonous fitna
