So true, Sometimes we treat God like a magician. give me this and that , do this and that for me. WE need to ask ourselves whether we believe in Jesus only because of the healing or because HE IS JESUS REGARDLESS OF THE HEALING. As Jesus said, the formula: SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. Not just given but added and that means extra, overflowing and abundance.Todd White has got the meaning of this. Thats why Jesus lives and moves so powerfully in him.

I think a lot of people think they have the right answer or want to think they do. I have had cancer for 14 years and refused treatment because they gave me no hope but here I am still breathing all by myself in Jesus. Nobody has an answer for that and neither do I. Its not because I don't have enough faith to be healed, and its not because you don't have the faith to drive out the cancer. Its by Gods grace that I still live and I know for a fact that non believers are watching and are stirred by God's grace that allows me to do the things I do. I should have been dead 9 years ago.

Short answer to the question of the video: we can easily become prideful if a miracle occurs after praying for someone every time. Thus, we need an immense amount of humility every day as we walk with Jesus.

I think the saddest thing I’ve seen so far from my walk with Christ is how many Luke warm Christians there are still. Those who claim to love Jesus yet are our getting drunk and partying or can barely make an hour out of their day to pray. I was once a hypocrital Christian. We have to be the examples. We are the reasons people do not believe in god because we are HYPOCRITES. WE MUST WALK IN CHRIST EVERYDAY.

The greatest cause of atheism today is Christians who acknowledge him by there lips and deny him by there lifestyles. I heard this in one of my favorite songs it's the intro to DC talks what if I stumble. It's 100% true but I can speak from experience being a recovering addict, I'm 27 years old and never had a real relationship with Christ it's not easy to completely do a 180 degree turn around. But I have made serious changes, as the song I mentioned says what if I stumble? what if I fall? God is there to help me get back up! A righteous man falls 7 times a day. Not everyone's walk is the same but as long as we aim to align our walk with Christ he is faithful he will help us.

Adam Quirke No my Friend. You’ve got it the other way around. You need belief to fast and pray. You can’t expect an unbeliever to fast and pray to receive belief. Faith is a Gift from God. Read romans. Read your bible. Know the mechanism behind how ‘belief’ operates through faith when it’s first gifted by God. Can’t throw a bone to a Dog and expect it to take it unless it actually believes that it’s edible, palatable and real - meant for digestion.

although Jesus' primary "sign" was healing, He frequently told those healed to not tell anyone... so He didn't merely heal to show who He is, He healed because of who He is ;-) and it was surely about our bodies becoming well... Sozo is used both for salvation and healing... not to mention forgiveness of sin and wholeness in body are in the redemptive chapter; Isaiah 53 :-)

Remember the video of Todd White talking about a little boy who had a brain tumor, and the tumor got worse and worse. The little boy died...there was no healing (at least not here on earth), there was no resurrection. His parents were believers...Todd was there...They were expecting a miracle...fully believing there would be one. The paramedics came after the little boy died. God gave Todd a word of knowledge about an injury the paramedic had, they prayed for him, and he was healed. Then Todd White said the paramedic received Christ. Was that little boys death worth that soul that got saved? Yes it was. God uses instances, moments, that brings people into an intersection with each other...sometimes sickness, sometimes death, for the sake of a soul that is won to Him. Healing ALWAYS comes for a believer, just not in the package, and in the time we think it should come sometimes. At times it's at the end of this physical life. God is absolutely SOVEREIGN. His glory is shown in so many ways, at so many different times but it's ALWAYS worth it for the Kingdom! I have been ABSOLUTELY BLESSED and encouraged by Todd Whites ministry and tenacity. God has the ultimate answers, we are to just obey and do what Jesus tells us to do.

I love your statement that healing always comes for a believer...just not in the package,and in the time we think it should come...and at times it is at the end of this physical life. God has purposes for all those he heals, and when it is delayed or comes at the end of one's life there is a purpose that is fulfilled that sometimes only God sees and knows. We, like you shared, are just to obey and follow Jesus daily. Thank you...

I was praying for healing on people God told me to lay hands on, in my 2 month walk with Christ, crucified my flesh until i came across a video that said dont just pray and ask but command it to leave in the name of Jesus and tell them they are healed it is done! I received that and layed hands on a women the next day and she was healed instantly from heart disease after coming out of the hospital with 3 stints....amazing! Amen!! I prayed the other day for a woman who had popped her hip out of it's socket. She was in immense pain and using a cane to no put weight on it. I had her sit down and laid hands on her hip. I commanded the hip to be healed in Jesus name and believed He was going to work through Holy Spirit because of how much He loves her! The first time I prayed she felt a tingling but no relief from the pain, the second time I prayed she had significant relief from the pain but the hip was still bulging out (you could see it through her running pants), the third time I prayed her hip popped back in the socket! All pain gone, complete relief of pressure. She just began crying and worshiping God. It was so beautiful!!! Jesus loves His children so much. I was very skeptical initially about healing because I had never seen it before but Holy Spirit has been revealing more and more through Gods words how it's a part of the Christian walk!

So many "men of God" on KZfaq condemning men that really love God and desire to see the Kingdom of God expanded in the world. The greatest evidence that a man is born of God is that they walk with Him and love people. Many religious men with a "pristine" doctrine will find themselves in hell. Be careful who you judge because Jesus says you will know them by their fruit. When it comes to Todd all you see is love for people and a desire for them to encounter the living Christ.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaas...Thank you! It's about loving people. Are we stopping people and saying "Hey, you're Amazing...Jesus loves you and can I pray for you, what are your needs?" That's the point. Meeting people in love, then letting the wisdom of the Holy Spirit lead you on how to pray for them, if it's healing Praise God, of it's something else Praise God. Just be obedient, but careful that you not you slander a brother or sister, let's not forget that is murder. Every time you speak against someone you are murdering their character instead of approaching them PRIVATELY and reasoning together whatever your offense might be.
@Danesstuff
@Danesstuff 8 жыл бұрын
good points, man. Let us also be careful that we do not "cut the baby in half", and do what the Bible never does: divide the reality of essential doctrinal truth from the essential motive of love. Jesus spoke the truth in love and both loved and confronted people everywhere. A lot of people didn't "feel" loved by Him. They crucified Him because He was willing to confront them in truth. Jesus said "Love one another." But He didn't say, "All that matters is that you love one another." Someone who loves their own reputation and loves to be "liked", will not confront others with the truth. For they do not want to be rejected, and they love the opinions of men more than the truth of God. Some of the Jews would not openly profess their faith in Jesus...because they loved to be loved by their own people more than they loved to honor Jesus and His truth.

this testimony shows that God's plan for some is different than others. He may choose to use someone's MS to glorify His name. Folks can force God into one mold only: "always and only healing now". But history is full of God's wonderful works...through all sorts of people and all sorts of circumstances. God is more than big enough to glorify Himself through those who trust Him...whether by healing or not by healing.
@johnevans5281
@johnevans5281 10 жыл бұрын
Dane Gressett, this testimony only shows this one persons testimony. So it only shows one aspect of God's love. And God also has been known to be glorified by an ass, or by a rock if need be. Jesus paid for the healing and forgiveness of all 2,000 years ago, so he's not sitting in a chair making choices to heal and not heal today... the decision was made once for all. Many things fall into the equation of healing, but God's choice is already made. I may choose to eat horrible food that gives me cancer. But God is good and always pursuing me. I may live a life of death, but God is only the giver of life. So God loved me and wanted me to live, yet I continued down the wrong path, leading to death. God didn't choose to just let me die, He wept as he saw his kid strolling into oncoming traffic. Jesus' ministry was 3 years. He healed all that came to him, and all that he went to. John 21:25 --Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. Imitate Jesus.
@Danesstuff
@Danesstuff 10 жыл бұрын
Wasn't Jesus God for the first 30 years of His life as well as the last 3? What did he do when someone died in those years? Built a coffin and attended the funeral. Jesus' entire life is a reflection of God in the flesh. He spent most of His life NOT operating under a healing anointing and NOT expecting everyone around Him to get healed. Jesus even initially resisted His mother's insistence that he perform His first miracle. Yes, imitate Jesus. But embrace the whole whole Jesus, who was perfectly in His Father's will for 33 years...not just the last 3.
@johnevans5281
@johnevans5281 10 жыл бұрын
John 21:25 doesn't say," and Jesus did so many miracle that even the whole world wouldn't have room for the books... and Oh yeah, all of these miracles happened only in his last 3 years." What is recorded is his ministry, which is what the gospels are all about, not about the historical narrative of his entire life. So if as a child he says,"I'm all about my father's business", then during his ministry he says,"I'm only doing what I see my father doing," this implies that God hasn't changed and is willing Jesus to do similar things. A miracle that is the first recorded miracle in a gospel (which isn't a historical narrative of his entire life) may not have been his first miracle of his life; a life set to do only what he sees his father doing. I agree that we must imitate Jesus. Signs and wonders are mere fruit of a relationship, not the pursuit. We must love and bless our enemies, forgive others, and walk in compassion. We must love the orphans and widows, giving them a family to belong to. Blessings Dane!

Honest review. I recognise their search. I've experienced thousands of miracles. It's wonderfull. Jesus heales out of love and grace. For Him it is easy. He is God. For us, it al starts with exactly knowing that through the blood of Christ we are partakers of His mighty Divine nature 2 Peter 1:4. Bornagain from water and spirit. Sons and daughters of the living God. Gods in the flesh. We are from God. It's all in the bible. A believer is full of Holy spirit power. With that certainty in our hart, we need to say just a word, just like Jesus did and healing takes place, demons go...... Its wonderfull. But we are often disabled by our sences / cares / pride / fear etc. It is a proces of knowing who he is, what He is capable of and how unlimited great our freedom and power is, given by Him. We will get there. He promised. The bible calls us to grow up in His fullness, so keep growing, searching, asking, trying.

The miracles we should be seeking & mainly focused on is the changing of an unrepentant heart. Does the Lord care for our health? Of course he does. But let's put things in perspective. When the Bible makes a statement about something there is a reason. Luke 15:10 "In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Jesus last commands to his disciples - Matt. 28:19-20 "19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” When the Church was strong with Mature believers hundreds of years ago the Hymns written in those days rarely ever were about healing & instead were focused on Praising God, Salvation, Faith, Hope, Love, Creation, Providence, a Call to Worship or Repentance, Grace, Jesus, God, Holiness, Thanksgiving, The Cross, The Blood and all the Most important aspects of Christianity. There seems to be an obsession with many Churches today about healing & miracles and very little focus on salvation, spiritual maturity, knowing & obeying God's will, reaching the lost through His Word. Really sad.

@jayadams6162
@jayadams6162 8 жыл бұрын
I come to the knowledge because the Truth we stand on is always the scriptures. The miracles you see today are manipulations of the mind. People with aches & pains can be manipulated into believing their problems are gone. People do get healed through the power of prayer but no one today can do as Paul & Peter and speak just a word and the person be healed or speak a word and someone raised from the dead. Paul healed everyone on the Isle of Malta but not too many years after the Truth is as in these 2 examples he could no heal. In 1 Tim. 5 Paul could not heal Timothy and in 2 Tim. 4 he could not heal Trophimus. Read the accounts of both. We also see no mention of tongues in the later epistles nor any other Miracles. The purpose of the Gifts was a sign to Unbelieving Israel. 1 Corinthians 1:20-25 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Dan Mohler says that we must develop our relationship and know God better, and THEN we will see more miracles such as healings. In other words: The depth of your relationship with Jesus determines the miracles you are able to perform. BUT then he also tells how he laid hands on a hernia patient when he was a 3 months old baby Christian. At 3 months he already knew God that deeply? Hmmm... Perhaps after all God is just sovereign to decide when, what, where, who, how...
@created4design

Matt 6:10 - Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven... In other words, Your kingdom come to earth just like it is in heaven and your will be done here on earth just like it is in heaven. This means we can have all the benefits of heaven right here on earth. If faith is required to make things move, then it is faith we must have, not in ourselves but faith in Jesus. we are in constant learning how to have the faith that Jesus had. Sometimes we have a lot of faith and sometimes we just don't. Jesus never struggled with faith issues like we do. When someone is healed it could be because our faith made it happen and we have the the "gift of healing" or it could be because God said, this one is one me (just a flat out miracle) . Either way we have to step out and use faith! It is impossible to please God without any faith. Faith is all that pleases Him. It is not our job to re-write theology because we don't see a miracle happen but it is our job to step out and use our faith for healing etc.. I have stepped out on many occasions, I see more healings that I know what to do with man. I see them more than i don't see people healed. If i hadn't stepped out at all, they would all still be in the same condition they were "un-healed". We have the kingdom within us and tools at our disposal, I'm using my tools are you using yours? It says these signs will follow all believers. I'm seeing it, just because you may not be, please don't be that christian that sits back and blames it on the sovereignty of God stuff...

Stephen didn't have an identity crisis and he had tremendous faith, his faith was unto the death...Acts 8:58-59. He was stoned to death bcuz of his faith in Christ and the Lord was able to use this for His glory. After the death of the Stephen, the Lord came to Saul (later his name changed to Paul, also the one who ordered Stephen's death), and Paul had the gifts of deliverance, tongues, interpretation, faith and healing. Paul knew who he was in Christ, no identity either, but according to 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 he asked the Lord 3xs to remove the thorn from his flesh, and the Lord said "My grace is sufficient for you...." So, sometimes people are not healed bcuz God says No. Sometimes you have to be patient and wait and sometimes God heals immediately. I do agree on one aspect of your guy's response, sometimes there is a lack of faith and bcuz of it, there is no healing.

Can God be glorified in someone sick and dying? Or is that person suffering just because a faith healer didn't come along? Or that person lacked the faith to command his own healing? If someone dies and no faith healer was around to command him to be raised from the dead, is this our sin as Christians? Are these guys going to grow in faith enough to keep raising each other from the dead? Maybe we don't know why some get sick and some die? Maybe the word of know edge they keep getting about this and that is not from God but how will they know if they keep going down this path. What will they say when their end comes? Bet their theology changes then because it's based on experience. You decide.

Let's be honest! The bible allows for suffering and pain. Everyone who preaches otherwise cuts out half of scripture. But it seems that this is not a problem since there is enough prophetic revelation to "compensate" the lack of sound teaching. For all that are out there seeing the discrepancies: God still loves you! The bible states it over and over again: We share in Christ's sufferings. If God healed you: Great But one day you will face suffering and eventually all uf us will die. Never will God give up his sovereignty. Yes allmighty God permits suffering and allows it. Whoever doesn't preach that lies by ommission.

Yes! This is important! Our growth in the Lord is a function of OUR desire to co-partner with him in Love to all..., Him being the senior partner. It takes humility to be a grateful learner, living in His Presence, and avoid blaming and projecting on others. Each is called to Love others, not expect Love, conformity or agreement from others. We can grow into that and begin to feel a peace that passes all understanding! His Power backs us up in all our efforts to know and represent him.

true church wrong.. read it again "I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me." the throne was a demon to bug him. Again don't try to re-write theology to fit your belief system.
@truechurch2986
@truechurch2986 9 жыл бұрын
look up the word thorn. do that first, then read correctly. who gave him a thorn in the flesh ? not satan. Paul was a messenger o satan - acts chapter 9:4-5 who persecuted Christ ? Paul. so if the thorn was a demon your saying Paul is possessed, Paul at one time was against Christ, and the followers of Christ, until God struck him down, when did this demon bug Paul ? your bugging out
@created4design
@created4design 9 жыл бұрын
true church no no no. No one is saying Paul was possessed by a Demon! We all know Demons can bug and torment Christians without entering their bodies. nuff said about that. It was as if Paul was saying this. "It was like i stepped on a nail, this thing was there to bug the heck out of me". Besides if your going to go all looking up words here, you'll need to do so in the greek, not "english". Now listen, this is important. If you think God sent that Demon, you are trippin out dude. God doesn't send demons. Satan was prolly pissed that Paul changed from doing Satans work to Gods work so he sent a demon to torment him. God doesn't send demons to torment us. That's just plain weird theology man. Matt 7 ~ 9“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

I think it is rude of those two men to be talking to each other while Todd White is speaking. Todd listened to them when they were speaking.

I will say that it takes Faith. Daily, give God the praise for all blessings and all failures. We grow and get closer to God through times of failure a lot of the time. God also wants us home when He determines that time. So, sometimes He doesn't heal because He is taking you back home. God be praised during all of His timing.

This is so ridiculous. it's so far away from biblical truth. if only our churches kept the Bible in reverence and final authority in all things it would change the face of Christianity in the 21st century. The ONLY way God has revealed Himself to us is by His Beloved Son (Hebrews 1:1-2) & through the Scriptures (1 Timothy 3:16) Men and Women are pursuing the 'presence' of The Lord & keeping it in higher authority than the Scriptures. May we test all Spirits (1 John 4:1) & don't immediately attribute all things to The Holy Spirit because Satan masks himself even in the light (2 Corinthians 11:14) THE BIBLE IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY IN ALL THINGS

John 14:25-27 (NASB) 25 “These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

Hebrews 1:1-2 1Long ago, AT MANY TIMES AND IN MANY WAYS, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. - God certainly speaks to us through Jesus, and everything in the Bible points to Jesus, but I disagree with one word you used - "ONLY." The verse you quoted says God has spoken in many ways. Then it says he "has spoken." I have eaten, but I will eat again. It's not a once and for all spoken. Admittedly, to say Jesus is a HUGE statement is still putting it mildly - He is the Word made flesh! - but God still speaks, otherwise I wouldn't ever pray about anything in my life today - what job I should take, where I should send my kids to school, etc. Then refer to verse given above from John. Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ was given to speak to us and teach us. And I would also say that Jesus and the Bible are not the same thing. What part of White's explanation of Matthew 17 did you think was "so far away from biblical truth?" That passage has challenged my faith and how I view God in so many ways. I've listened to this video many times and it makes me uncomfortable, it challenges me, but I believe it has a lot of biblical truth that is hard for me - if I truly take it as "reverence and final authority" in my life, I can't help but be transformed by renewing my mind (Rom. 12:2) to how Jesus viewed these situations. It's tough, but certainly not unbiblical.

I think i would disagree between "revealing" and "speaking". I would agree with you that God speaks through people through the means of preaching etc I also would say that when God spoke to Abram, he fell onto his face because of fear & reverence to a truly Holy God. Did you have the same experience in your life when God spoke to you regarding what school your kids should go to? We speak to God through our means of our prayer life. & in return, God speaks to us through the means of His Holy Word (praise be to God). I agree that Jesus & the Bible aren't the same. Yet still have commonalities- perfect, living and forever powerful just to name a few. But you can't take one away from the other. How are they to call on him in whom they have not believed? (Rom 10:14)

matt zietsch Jesus tore the veil specifically so that I can have relationship with the Father - a good, loving God - without feeling unworthy. I am no longer a servant (like those in the OT covenant), but a friend. No longer just a friend, but a son/daughter. No longer just a son/daughter, but an heir -- in fact, a co-heir with Christ. Anything less would be an insult to the cross and the complete work that Jesus has done to reconcile me to the Father. Through Jesus, I am now righteous - fully right with the Father. The veil is cut in two; the debt of my sin has been completely paid in full; I can have full relationship with the Father. Am I in awe of my God? Certainly! Do I restrict His manner of speaking to me to the Bible? Absolutely not. Why should we expect the fruit of the early church when we value a book that they didn't have over the Holy Spirit that they did have? It's not "God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Bible!" To restrict God's means of speaking to me is completely unbiblical. Throughout the Bible God speaks in highly varied and some quite unusual ways - a burning bush, a cloud, a donkey, dreams, visions, through prophets, through other believers, etc. Do I read the Bible? DAILY! Does God speak to me through it? DAILY. Do I go to church and listen to sermons? Absolutely. Does God speak to me through that? Absolutely. Will I tell God that those are the only two ways He can speak to me? NO WAY! Bro, you need to let God out of a tiny, tiny box that you have put Him in. He is much bigger than you can imagine. I'll see you on the other side. Blessings

If they don't get healed it's a faith problem and they're exonerated. If a person is healed they think they are first century apostles. These guys no nothing about God's word, God's sovereignty and the whole reason healings and miracles happened in the bible.

I was seeking the Lord and asked if He would heal my son of Autism. He told me no because He is going to use it but James was healed of many physical ailments as well as me. Sometimes He is going to use it. I trust in Him. I was healed of kidney stones and many things that cause major problems in my life and so has my son. We praise Jesus for being here.

I pray to my beautiful lord almost every day. I am a learning Christian. I have had 6 surgeries, that I know of I need two more. I'm 27. my last surgery was in May. 2016. my dr. removed two tumors in my spine. I wonder if God heals by pushing us to the drs. I still have emense, severe piriformis syndrome and plantar fasciitis aches throbbing at night and day. it's so hard for me sleep. yesterday I was crying for a few hours praying asking for healing. my car was broken into they took three says of my medication. I really cant walk walk with out them. anyways I was in agony, bing watching Tod White, he's so amazing. I cried out to God in the name of Jesus Christ heal my leg, take away the pain, relax my inflamed muscles. discribing in detail my pain holding my hands over the parts. tears pouring so fast, I was in a blanket, but I became so warm. the perfect degree before being too hot. something happened cuz I promise I went to the restroom, and my leg was tingling, with a wiggling feeling. man I started crying again. in the back if my head I ask all the time every night for healing, but I always feel I'm not worthy, there's so many others in more pain then me. but he blessed me and I fell asleep for a constant 8 hours. I have not done that in 10 years. when I woke up I cried again. and I'm crying again. but the pain came back in a day. but I'll pray again and Continue to be a greater Christian. the feeling was amazing better then any priscribed medication. I have medication the is given to cancer patients. My LORD IS KING OF KINGS. HE'S THE ALFA AND OMEGA. I SURENDER TO HIM AND ONLY HIM. STAY BLESSED EVERYONE SHARE LOVE AND WALK IN HIS FOOT STEPS. "YOUR NOT A DOOR MAT, JESUS IS THE DOOR" TOD WHITE. MUCH LOVE FROM CALIFORNIA USA!
