A lot of people say this but in my experience it really does make a difference What I noticed is: - A - S are basically the same - B is like a no mans land where the lobbies are always dead - C - E is just chaos - Driver rating any lower than 4900 is chaos Since I got to A 4900, the racing has been amazing, full of players who care When I was between B-A 4700 - 4900, it was hit and miss, but then I noticed this is similar on GT7 too, just not as pronounced I think the reality is, it's a skill issue with Forza. There's a limited amount of players to start compared to GT7 and so the game has to compromise between filling lobbies and ranking well, that's my assessment of it I think the ranking system by itself is actually pretty good, I just think the fundamental flaw of Forza is that they keep it exclusive to Xbox, biggest mistake ever, if they opened it to playstation the game will flourish simply because of the number of players that exist on playstation. The raking system will be more effective and the racing will consequently improve. I genuinely think Forza is one of the best racing games out there, it kinda is the player base that lets it down imo

@@justamanchimp Yes, but if you are in a lobby no-one else can see your rating, the only result of your achievements is in a random screen in the UX. Driver level is visible but that's additionally pretty meaningless, only showing the amount of time you have spent on your *current* account.

@@DrSpoculus Don’t get me wrong, the Porsche has great rear grip out of corners due to the rear engine design. However, you can clearly see the acceleration is way faster than normal. Plus the guy had to slow down so much more in the turns because he couldn’t control it at all due to the unrealistic extra speed.

The meta tuning is 0 rear downforce and Max front downforce I know the Porsche is a straight line beast

Exactly my thoughts, I'm new to racing but I don't mind coming last if it's a good clean race, unfortunately Forza does seem to be tainted with very little clean sportsmanship.

He saved his tires with proper technique. You're sliding everywhere on the track because your car has too much power. Wheel spin for days and sliding that rubber off even down the straights. Your car isn't built for corners and there are 72 corners on nurburgring. You're relying on straight line acceleration and speed to catch up and pass. He's not suspicious at all. His car is built for cornering.

@thecollector4753 never commented on this in any other places. So, now there is proof that people literally make things up when there is no evidence... hence the video. You do know there are parts for cars that you can't buy in the store, right? Level 5 parts. High rpm turbo chargers, etc. Those make huge differences at the top end. Coming out of a corner faster than other cars is about gearing for that purpose. I've been playing since day 1, almost every day, and I've never seen a cheater in a love race. Plenty of bad drivers and bad sports, but no cheaters/hackers

They mentioned a long time ago the cap was based on your refresh rate, it keeps you around 60 but not explicitly. You can experiment with different rates using custom resolutions and you'll get some interesting results.

He was also using acceleration and grip hacks. Watch the mini map on the last lap when he gets onto the final straight. He blows past everyone and then pits at the end to make his lap time look legitimate and to finish 3rd.

It's possible to mod & cheat on Console too, maybe not as easy, but still possible, just saying, Forza motorsport 4 wasn't even on PC, and i already saw people cheating on leaderboards

i've seen some pretty scuffed and 100% cheated times in many racing games on console at one point i saw a -2000438939001.07 second run on the airport track in split second which isn't even close to the average time of 3min 30sec so i'm not surprised people cheat in forza to, just something that's bound to happen

8:20 with the 935 and 8:21 with the viper .. without any hacks 😄 So yeah 8:39 with hacks .. wouldn’t even notice that guy on track

@@ganove84 Problem is if these guys are driving right in front of you and you can't get past them. The problem is often not that they are slow, but that they deliberately block, break check and constantly switch from one side to the other. If they then have unfair advantages, it becomes difficult.

The first two guys got passed by the cheater before the end of the race, but the cheater went into the pits and then sat there until his lap time would look legitimate and the other top 2 drivers had passed him

Ive probably got 500 laps in total across various games starting with mod's from F1 2002 and GTR/GTR2 until recently (AC/PC1) and I make tons of mistakes still. it's the damn curbs that kill me most of the time...
