#3 - I watched this video to help me see myself through another person's perspective because I am easily consumed by my own critical and negative judgments on my flaws/shortcomings/past mistakes. Group 1: I feel so much better about myself now after watching this video. To prove how much people stare at me, every time I'm in a classroom or a small conference on whatever topic, the teacher or the speaker always looks at me. It's like they're doing the class or the conference only for me. No matter where I sit, it's like they're always looking for me. I feel like it is so because I look like I pay a lot of attention to what they're saying, and I do, but I also look at how they talk, move, and dress to get to know them better for who they are. I like to understand people and learn from them. Just because I really love learning, and one of the finest senses I have to do this is my sight. Maybe because I use my eyes and am not afraid to stare at people, I could look serious or intimidating for some of them. And yes, I like to feel sure of what I'm doing and really focus and enjoy it every time. I like to think I'm in a movie and am the main character, so all the people staring is because they're watching the movie. 😅

Awe, I've been through the system too and was one of the only white Latino in an Asian community growing up. It's definitely tough at times trying to relate but you learn to adapt to the culture (if there's any) and people. Im glad you're embracing yourself and I wish you the best in your future.

Pile 3: "conventially attractive" is something I've said for years regarding myself. and people do assume I am privileged and living a fantastic life. That is the furthest thing from the truth (at least, the latter part is lol). It's shitty cuz people just write off my issues and this is been the case all of my life! It's exhausting honestly. Wow, group 1. The seriousness. I put on an RBF in public and I walk fast and straight ahead so people avoid me. I have really bad anxiety and I’m kind of shy unless I have to be personable. I can flip the switch if I need to, but it doesn’t change how I feel, just how I deal with it. Everyone tells me I’m mature for my age and that I must be an old soul. I chose group 1, and wow! Spot on. I'm very intuitive and often "catch" people trying to stare at me. I'm often told I am intimidating which surprises me as I'm very kind hearted and warm once I engage with someone. I am a musician and artist and so in ways I found the being in the "spotlight" portion really resonated too. I have been through intense emotional hardship, relationship abuse and trauma. For 1, I’m very tall and extremely self-conscious. I dream very alternative and I’m kind of agoraphobic/socially anxious so I’m always on a mission to leave as soon as possible, and when people stare I usually make direct eye contact if they stare longer than my comfort level 😅 my coworkers do exactly that and I have many people think I’m a lead. Group 4: Spot on about everything! Yes, people want to know my ethnicity. They often get confused. This reading made me realize that people spend a long time staring trying to figure out which group I belong to so that they know if they can let themselves feel attraction to me or not. Damn group four has summed me up perfectly so far, I do surprise people often with how I look and act differ some days I’m gothic, others in a tomboy, others super girly. I’m super socially awkward I always mess up interactions and I totally do have a resting bitch face sadly it’s a family curse haha. I’m often told I need a keeper haha 😂🤦🏻‍♀️. I am a Capricorn and people do love to jump the gun with me and make up assumptions which irritates me. I have my own phases like Oh my stars which gets people doing a double take and oh I look very serious but I’m the first to crack a joke. I’m British, so pale I look like a ghost haha but I do get looks when I say I married at age 21, I do wish I had money lol but sadly I’m a broke chick like most of my family line. I do colour outside the lines I always do my thing and make sure the underdog is protected

I wear clothes 4 times too big so that no one stares. I love how being ugly makes me invisible sometimes. No one ever stares at me. People actually close doors in my face or overlook me a lot. 🙃 If anyone wants to ask me anything it's probably why I wear a hoodie on 90° days.

This seems very unhealthy. You don't have to be invisible. There is nothing wrong with being seen. Being mistreated or stared at (which I'm sure you are more than you realize) will teach you to have more of a sense of worthiness and self respect - it will teach you boundaries. And honestly, you're saying "unattractive people" don't get mistreated. One - no matter what you do, there will always be someone who finds you attractive, as you are the one creating that label for yourself. Two - people are in fact mistreating you by, for example, closing doors in your face. Treat yourself right, honor yourself - and you will begin to attract that more so into your reality. Pile 4. Yeah, definitely quirky and awkward. I'm also lose myself when I'm immersed in my own world (esp since I am mostly listening to music). I have quite a lot of layers to myself, so that's spot on. I tend to switch characters depending on who I'm with. Definitely oblivious. But sometimes not. A lot of people have told me that I'm crazy and loud, but I definitely do accept and own that side of me.
