​@@gulamnabi506 they barely get paid for the delivery through the service they work on tips mostly, if you can't pay a good tip don't order and go pick your own food up. I personally don't want to pay the app company and the driver either so I go get my own food.

I used to deliver with uber when I was in college, people accepting those small tips are ruining it for everyone that drives cause it makes fools like that guy commenting think it's ok to tip trash when the driver uses his/her own car and gas to bring them food sometimes like 12 miles.

Real talk. And we still treat others servicing the “wealthy” client with “reasonable” tips on ours, and our client’s, behalf. Totally not fair, but we do it to stay in our clients’ “good graces.” As a child of immigrants, I absolutely HATE playing this game, but know participation is necessary if you want to advance in this “world”. The idea is to give LESS money than what you take or steal. Under capitalism, a good person is perpetually homeless. In other words, to make money you must be okay with taking it from someone else. It's always a transfer of wealth. Normally, the transfer is from the poor to the rich, but on occasion it's from the rich to the poor. Both ways are actually terrible. There shouldn't be wealth transfers but wealth creation. Wealth creation stopped almost 150 years ago. The western world just been transferring wealth from the poorer nations unto themselves. Now the poorer nations are extracting from the western and we're taking a hit. Capitalism 101: Divert wealth to oneself. If this a true story you should be better than that. Don't treat them the way they treated you, but don't be their friend either. You should only be friends with people who were cool with you before wealth. If no one stuck around when you were homeless then you're gonna have to make new friends. Buy a very cheap car. Perhaps even rent an efficiency. After a year or 2 you can reveal your true financial state. A true friend would want to end the friendship for having lied to them. If they become happy then tread carefully. The fact is that money is important for friendships. Someone might be your friend when you're homeless and not when you make 500,000 year. Someone might be your friend when you make 70,000 but not your friend when youre either making 10,000 or 1,000,000. Lifestyles are too different. Your best bet is to find people who have similar wealth to you that have a similar story (homeless too).
