I married a foreigner when I worked in the US (I guess I was the foreigner). Best decision of my life. He’s a good provider, father, most especially a man of God. My only advice to people in general is to find a guy that will respect and honor you. A guy who loves everyone (not selfish). Marry for the right reasons and your life will be better.

Let's face it. Regardless of Nationality not only Filipinas, a woman cannot live on love alone. Financial security is a must in order to be committed into marriage. There should be sincerity, honor and respect as well in the relationship. I know a Filipina who married an Italian. She told me that she wanted children with European features. She did. Compatibility is also one important consideration. They have a successful marriage because both are highly-educated and professionals in their field of work.

I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 for 37 years. I married a man that’s always around me and available. There’s not many single Filipino men here, people are busy here. I married a British man.

There are a lot of foreigners married to Filipinios who have chosen to live in the simple n quiet life in the province, especially in the cities of Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Dumaguete or the upscale cities of Makati n BGC n even balikbayans who lived in the US gor several years n have now returned back to the Philippines n started a business or have bought a farm or bought a beach resort.....

Your situation should be a cautionary tale for every foreign woman that comes to the Philippines with her man. You’re asking for trouble if you stay an extended period of time. The roles are completely flipped from the west. Even your average man is getting nonstop attention from beautiful YOUNG women. If there’s any cracks in a relationship, it’s doomed. 99% of western men are not used to this type of attention, and it’s almost impossible to resist.

Contrary to misconception and negative thoughts,, Foreigners mostly preferring Filipina as their wife rather than other nationality..

For me i pick a Christian foreign i like someone who is closed to God. because for sure that person will try his/her best not to hurt you 😊 And i think when you mixed Foreign and Filipino for sure you will have a beautiful baby ❤

Nothing wrong if you marry a foreigner. Important is to know their culture, accept the culture. The best is you love each other . Man is a provider and woman is caring of husband and children. Tha woman must submit to her husband.

My sister had a relationship with a swiss German guy. In short they had a kid. When the guy found out my sister was pregnant he immediately proposed to her and she said no. So my nephew was born and the "father" was always present in the child's life. Would visit when he was in the country and he proposed a few more times to my sister and she still said no. Curious I asked her why did you say no, she said she just wanted a child and not a husband, and if she will have a child , she wanted to have a good looking child. My nephew is already in his 30s and married and his mom and "dad" are still in good terms. In fact she just came home from a month's holiday in Europe with the dad .....

Where i work there are several Filipino ladies that married older English gentleman. Now the gentlemen have retired and have a much lower income, the ladies work in the factory to help support them.

Better future for themselves and family, and those who don't have it a preference are better off in life (wealthy).

Filipinos are not prejudiced. Therefore intercultural marriages are acceptable. Filipinos are non judgmental.

I'm not sure. But I think there's no definite answer as to why "filipinas marry foreigners." Some reasons maybe different from each other. Maybe financial stuff? Cultural interests? Maybe it's just love? Regardless of nationalities.

Its normal coz were adoptable plus were open to adopt the culture and were open to possibilities. And then another thing that others didnt know is the ratio of Filipinos were females are more than males like 4:1 4 females is to 1 male then some males are gays so their count was lessen more 😅😅😅 so what do you think females do to have their own husband or boyfriend then find outside the country 😊 In the old times they always think pinays marry foreigners bcoz of financial but these days its not its more on to find other guys who are matched in our taste and could give us the love and care that we want 🙂 coz here in the Philippines most guys are very choosy i experienced that they want a woman who still get pregnant its important to them so age is hard for us women who already older while in foreigners there are only few who insist on having children.
