This is unfair I’ve broke my brackets 4 times now and I’ve had braces for only 2 months one broke this morning while I was in bed I was just laying down with my mouth closed then I felt the back bracket pop and it became loose. I think my dentist is putting on the bracket wrong so we pay them like we already payed a whole lot for the braces and we have to pay for brackets to. It’s the back brackets that break and the glue comes off with the bracket the one that broke right not the glue was sticking out of the bracket downwards touching my bottom teeth I’m so mad right now

And they don’t care how it broke like if it was their fault or mine they just charge me for it I’ve broken my brackets on eggs,tamale,sleeping,and right now that I was waking up

@@domsmomss Same condition..... The problem is not the money... The problem, During appointment day when I go there and wait for fkin 1 hr and when he see broken bracket he asks me to come next week....... Seriously he could do that day itself ... But he wants 1 fresh week ...

Yeah I think I just broke mine. I have rubber bands and I believe they got misplaced. Really bad timing because we’re on break. It feels misplaced but it’s still hand able; think I’ll just keep it misplaced until next month. My break won’t be enjoyable anymore :(

Exactly! I told my sons orthodontist this. Charging 35$ each broken bracket and he has a year and a half left! After i already paid 7000$! Irritated

my bracket isn’t even broken, they have to put it back but somethings fishy, for some reason I always break it on the same spot?

Hello doctor, i have my 4 teeth removed at friday. I'm just now wondering if it was necessary. I feel like my cheeks sunken a little bit. I am worried about this. Can i send You photos and You will tell me what You think of it? Is it possible that my face changed through 5 days or it is my imagination only and a little bit of swelling on my facea after extraction.

@@MekhiLadson no it is not, accidentally broke 2 brackets, one on the back and 1 in the front that had a band, each broken bracket costs $55 to reattach

all i want to know is. how much do they usually cost when u break like 11. yes, i broke 11 i broke my 11th today. i’m not sure how much i have to pay. this sucks because i was trying to eat chick peas to have a healthy snack, dried chick peas. and it broke. i’m supposed to get them off in September and this probably interfered. i’m scared what i have to tell the orthodontist because last time i was embarrassed bc she was telling me to change my diet and what i eat and i was really ashamed for breaking that many. i’ll definitely be more careful now!

Whats crazy is the ortho that did my braces yesterday said absolutely nothing about brakets, foods to avoid or up keep ! Thank God for KZfaq! I don't want to assume that the lack of information was intentional inorder to insure extra fees however I'm sure I can not tell him how to consult with his patients so they avoid unnecessary issues.

Ironically the cost and 💰 payment were not left out accidentally! As an adult in braces I can't wait to be done with this and out of his care.
