Which other female actor can you see overpowering some of the most skilled martial warriors (Loras Tyrell, fricking Jaime Lannister despite being handicapped, Sandor Clegane in the show) in single combat through sheer power? Gwendoline Christie just portrays such an incredible aura of strength, she was perfectly cast, imo.

It's so good watching these two having such a great time together, especially Gwendoline's full belly laughs. Brienne was always overly serious not allowing herself to enjoy anything. Brienne changed Jaime into a better man with honor and responsibilitywhile those two were together.
