In this video I discuss why I have 8 different EQs in my mastering chain. The answer is simple, I will use specific EQs for specific purposes. Some EQs are better for some things and other EQs are better for other things. I've not found one EQ that can do it all. Certain EQs have a certain sound. Some EQs will have a beautiful low end but another EQ will have a better high end. By having multiple EQs you can pick which is best for the track.
