@Adam A. All these will understand when our faith on the Supreme One become strong. Ur comments seems u r very confused on these issues. I'm not a theologian to tell u & explian in detail but I must say if u have full faith on the Almighty all these doubts would be clear.. Regarding the punishments, forgiveness, what will happened to us on the day of judgement these are such deep questions which we can only understood by proper devotion. Whatever illusions u & me have on such issues are all due to our weakness in faith on God.
@WillysWorld5274 жыл бұрын
@Adam A. Indeed bro, agree with u bcoz no religion is bounding us to question on issues which are important to us... As we grow we are become to curious to know about such complicated questions. This will led us more and more deep knowledge about such issues which often neglected by our society..
@Turaab26083 жыл бұрын
@Adam A. If they are hindu but they somehow havent heard of Islam then it wouldnt be their fault and so they wouldnt be punished. Every disbeliever isnt going to stay in hell for eternally. Tyrants will stay for a very long time because they have to make up for all the lives they ruined. Stubborn people will have to stay forever because they will never believe. I've heard a hadith that says that on the day of judgement children who passed at a young age will be told to enter paradise but they will stop and start crying. They will be asked why they're crying and they will say they want their parents. And so god will forgive their parents and bring them into paradise for the children. Gods mercy is beyond belief. But we are told about hell and eternal punishment because it keeps us in line. If there is a road with no speed limit but it says it reccomends to stay at a certain speed limit do you think everyone is going to follow it? Some people will be zooming 90 mph. Therefore we have a law that says you'll be punished with a fine. Same thing.

@@destiny6080 bad example, you’re comparing apples to oranges… a robot is programmed and made by humans and is flawed. It cannot think for itself, whereas humans have a brain to think about their actions and they have to be questioned about their deeds one day, not robots 😊
@ViolettaVie10 ай бұрын
@@destiny6080 People are more complex than robots, first of all. But also, that was a possible reason. The main reason is so we become our best selves and the reward would be appreciated. All of us has the opportunity to become our best selves (be refined, honed, etc.) but not everyone will take the opportunity to do so. If you have the capacity to suffer and struggle through hardship and come out of it wiser and more capable, stronger, more loving and compassionate, you are better than you were before. That is the person Allah wants to reward.

Imagine watching a movie and there would be no antagonists. What would be the point of that movie? Where would be the plot? You need the bad people in the movies to build up the character of the protagonists right? And in the end of every movie the good people win and the bad people get either punished or they get killed right? And only the director knows and decides who he wants to be good or bad in that movie and only he knows the outcome but no one else. I hope you got the metaphor, and may Allah guide you to the right path❤️

All the teachers and your parents say you have to study or you won't find a job. So my question is, is it pre destined if you are going to study or not? No it ain't, it's your decision, maybe instead of learning you go out with your friends or something like that, but you heard what your teachers said, and you know what might happen if you don't study. But still the choice on what to do is yours. Even if God knows it beforehand if you will find a job or not, you should try and do your best because you don't know it yet. If you don't study its like risking your entire life just to enjoy a couple months with your friends. To test many persons, you need to give equall scopes.
@trendsetter81383 жыл бұрын
As people differ in their capabilities and abilities their likes and dislikes there wishes their thinking and response to their circumstances the scops of test differs from God . God knows best in which capacity and circumstances a person is to be tested by him as God do not burden a soul more than he can endure. With different scops ( circumstances, conditions, given resources) the rewards and punishment will be different too. For example if you see rich and poor you ask that why rich have more blessings more money than poor? In Islam more blessings you have like (money health, long life, ect) more you have to answer for on the day of judgment. Less possessions or blessings in this world (like poor are given less from God) less you are accountable for and will receive accordingly the rewards or punishment. The first question will be about the means of earning money were the rich and poor earned their money by legitimate means. Earning by legitimate means is that money was not earned by stealing, deceiving corruption or illegal prohibited means. As rich or poor if money earned by illegal means than will be outright thrown in hell. than if the money was earned by legitimate means. Poor even than is likely to get more reward than rich in the hereafter if he was being Great full and obeyed God in their poverty. Rich if were Great Full and fulfilled their obligations which is very hard though as they can be arrogant, not paying poor their dues. (Charity) stingy or spendthrift will be given less reward in the hereafter as they were already enjoying many blessings in this life and they will be accountable and scrutinized of each penny they spend according to the way Allah (God) described in His book the Holy Quran. The God is Just and God told us that levels of heavens and hell are there where the people will be put into according to their level of faith and actions good or bad they have done That how pious they were and how well they have followed God in their life? For example a king is responsible for the wellbeing of his whole nation he will be asked about the whole nation about that were they looked after their nations well the mases were properly fed clothed provided their rights and given justice and non were neglected and did not faced oppression ? (Many questions which is difficult for them to answer) on the other hand a common man is only responsible of some people of his house the limited money he is earning the less responsibilities that he was given in life by God (Allah Almighty) which comes under him. Likewise God's test differs according to the capabilities and abilities of people. He is the creator and knows better how or in which capacity or way you are to be tested. For example rich are tested in their wealth will they spend in the way of God pay the poor their due share were stingy or extravagant or neglect their role and were arrogant. Poor are being tested in their poverty will they be thankful to God in less and having less money makes them exempted from the responsibility towards God to pay charity as they are the one who deserve it. The eminent scholar gave the example of gold as gold have the qualities too 19 caret 22 caret 24 caret. And the price is according to the quality of the gold.

Hi there. Hope you're doing well ☺️. Let me attempt some sort of answer in a KZfaq comment (not the best platform but 🤷♂️). It is true that nothing can happen without Allah's permission (and it's for this reason that every event MUST be decreed by Allah). However, the confusion arises when people think this contradicts the concept of free will - whereas it doesn't. Let's attempt an analogy. Imagine you're an actor who gets hired by a director. The director says: "I'm going to write a script for my new movie, but for your character, I'm going to allow you to choose how they behave in all their scenes. Here is a list of all your scenes, here is a list of all your options of how to behave in each scene and also the list is ranked in order of how much I personally like the options." He then hands you the stuff. He continues on to say: "Although I'd like you to choose the rank 1 option in every scene, you are free to choose any option. However, I will increase/decrease your wage based on how well your character arc matches my preference - you may even end up walking out of here with no salary at all, or even in debt. On the bright side, after watching the movie, if I love your character arc then you could walk out of here as a millionaire. With that in mind, fill out the papers, you're essentially in control of how much you'll earn" You think about it for a moment and then you proceed to fill in your choices and hand it back to the director so that he can write the script. To your surprise, the director immediately brings out the finished script which he had made earlier, and your character arc in that script is exactly the same as what you'd just chosen, almost as if he read your mind! He realises that you're spooked by this and he says: "Now we're going to go on set and film the movie. You will act according to this script which I have prepared. After that, I will pay you whatever wage you deserve based on how much I like your character arc. If I wanted to, I could have just given you a script and told you to act; but if I did that, there would be no justification for increasing/decreasing your payment afterwards. However, "judging" is an activity I wanted to do, thus I gave you the choice of how your character arc will play out and a criterion so that I can judge how well you stick to the criteria. I happen to be clairvoyant, so even though your choice was free I still knew what you will choose. Don't be mistaken, I didn't "calculate" your choices, I "knew" your choices. If I "calculated" your choices then it means that they were programmed. But they were not programmed, simply known - because I am clairvoyant." You then go on to act the movie. The director judges your performance based on the criteria he gave you earlier about his preferences, then he pays you accordingly. You do not complain, regardless of the outcome, since even though you were only following a script, you know that the script was made in line with your choices, so you weren't "forced" to do anything. If you wanted more money, you should have chosen more in line with the criteria, this would have reflected in the script (since the director is clairvoyant) and, by extension, the final judgement. I understand that as humans, this kind of analogy is at first difficult to digest because we as humans have no experience of the idea of "clairvoyance". Anything we know (as humans) needs to be inferred or calculated. We can't "just know" stuff . However, in Islam, one of the attributes of God is that He is "all-knowing". Thus the idea that He genuinely gave us autonomy with our choices doesn't conflict the idea that He already wrote down what we're going to choose - he just knows this. The mechanics of how to "just know" something is something supernatural and thus we have no parallel by which to try and make sense of it, it requires a supernatural explanation.... such as God. Also, the idea that "we do everything we do because God decreed it" is just a manifestation of the fact that nothing can happen without God's decree/permission. It's the same as obeying the script in the analogy. It doesn't oppose free will, because the script is in exact harmony with what we would do if we didn't have a script (ie if we didn't have to take permission from Allah). So even though we're "doing it because Allah decreed us to", we're also "doing it because we choose to". Both are true and there's no reason why they can't both be true at the same time, as long as God is allowed to "just know" our choices without programming them. One other popular argument is that "if God 'just knows' what we're going to do then what's the point of the test?". Well, God isn't "testing to find out a result" (like we do in science, for example), since He already knows the result. The word "test" is refering to US. It is a test from OUR point of view since WE are the ones making choices - for which we will be judged and compensated, just like the actor in the analogy. Why did God put us under this test? Why didn't he just give a a script without any free will? Well, because if He did that, the idea of "compensation" would be meaningless. He wanted to compensate. He wanted to judge. Okay... Why did God want to compensate? Why did he want to judge us???? Well, the answer is..... God knows - literally. God is a being with free will too, and with that will, He chose to judge. It's understandable that we may be curious as to why he wanted to judge us, but we can't know that unless He tells us - just like noone can know why YOU chose something unless they asked you (except God lol, he "just knows" 😉). Unfortunately, God didn't tell us why, so it could be because He wanted to showcase his abilities, or it's probably for some other reason which we are too limited to guess. Regardless, it's useless to ask why we're being tested; because whether we get an answer or not, it doesn't change that fact that we're being tested. So we should instead focus on passing the test so that we can at least get the reward. I hope this helps. Good luck in life and I hope we are both guided to the rightt path. Take care.

@@abdullateefbioshogun2368 this does conflict with god knowing everything or god being merciful
@abdullateefbioshogun23683 жыл бұрын
@@nafismubashir2479 Hi, I don't think it conflicts with God knowing everything. In fact, I'm not sure I understand what you mean, maybe you can expand. In that message I was explaining how "God knowing everything" doesn't conflict "free will"; so I don't understand when you say "it conflicts God knowing everything" since omniscience was a premise I'm the first place. So yh maybe you can expand, cus I'm lost 😅 In terms of conflicting "God being merciful", I can at least see how someone could argue that. Their argument would be that "if God knew that they would fail, why not just avoid testing them?". In other words, they're suggesting that the merciful thing to do would be to only test people who are going to pass the test. However, I would argue 2 things: Firstly, the faculty of free will is in itself a mercy. By giving us the chance to control our final outcome God is granting us with some level power - which is a mercy in my opinion (I personally would prefer to have power over my life than to not have that power, that's why I see it as a mercy). With power comes responsibility though. Another mercy is that he made the "right answers" to be in tune with human wellbeing (ie if we chose the best options it would be better for us, even without considering the judgement and compensation). Of course there are those who abuse the mercy and power bestowed upon them by choosing the wrong options. This leads onto my second point: If God simply erased those people from existence in an effort to "be merciful" to them then God would be robbing them of the mercy (free will) he gave them in the first place. And along with that, God would be being unjust to those people who didn't abuse their free will. Their free will would literally mean nothing, as there'd be no concept of a test (ie the fact that you exist would be a confirmation that you'd pass the test, which removes any motivation to pass - which creates a paradoxical scenario in which everyone fails). Take this analogy: imagine you're taking your 2 sons on a nice day out. You plan to spend £5 on each of them as an allowance for the day and you plan to take them to the sweets shop at the end of the day so you can buy them sweets. However, they would be pleased to control their own money. So you decide to be nice and give them each £5 at the start of the day; and you tell them "If you have money left in the evening I'll take you to the sweet shop". One of them wastes their money during the trip by buying useless things and losing silly bets with his friend. The other one saves up the money so that he can go to the sweet shop. Later on, you take the successful one to the sweet shop and the other one cries. You knew this would happen, afterall, you're the parent and you can predict them pretty accurately. Now, would it be "mercy" to also take the unsuccessful son to buy sweets? I'd say no, it's not mercy, simply injustice - injustice towards his brother who actually tried hard and passed the test. You already gave the unsuccessful one mercy by letting him have a choice of how to spend his money. If you didn't let him have a choice then he would have complained "why did you let my brother choose but not me?". Alternatively, if you didn't give any of them a choice then they'd both complain "why are you controlling us and not giving us a choice?". Don't get me wrong, this is just my opinion and you may have a different opinion. But from my point of view, giving someone a choice is merciful, even if you know they're going to abuse that choice. I personally regret the times in my life when I've had no choice; and I much prefer to have a choice in any scenario. Even if I choose a terrible outcome, I'd rather be able to say "it was my fault" than to live life according to someone else's choices like a helpless puppet. I believe you can argue that it wouldn't be merciful if God forced you to do things and then judged you on those things. But such a scenario goes against free will in the first place. By giving us free will, God isn't forcing us - and this is a mercy. With that mercy comes the responsibility to use it properly. And if we are irresponsible, we can't then point fingers at God and claim that "if He was merciful He'd just make me good". Up until the point of judgement, such a person was enjoying the mercy of free will while they were abusing it. I believe claiming "unmerciful" is just a last attempt way to shift the blame after exploiting the gift.

in my opinion I think because any human being can change his destiny you know there is a verse on Quraan talking about this, even if you were supposed to be a terrorist but then for example you helped a homeless or fed an animal that can change your whole life! so Allah love even the bad guys because we are all his servants even if we don't want to admit it but he want to give them a chance to start changing their destiny so they can also go to heaven. this is what I think maybe there's another reason I don't know! but I know one thing Allah loves us more than anything else and he will never be happy by seeing us in hell so he gives us thousands of signs in this life to let every thing and follow God so he can forgive us and let us be in his heaven and return to our real place where the Prophet Adam came from. but unfortunately a lot of us forgot this for just a temporary lust.

This makes no sense and here are my reasons for thinking so: * based on the first point regarding the “ proof of deeds on Earth “, Allah knows and has written all that you will do before you are even born. The statement regarding that in the Day of Judgment these deeds will be presented as proofs of who you are is weak. If my actions and deeds and indeed my destiny has already been decreed and determined then the question of “ what’s the point ?” is still valid. How can I be held responsible if I have been “ programmed “ to be a certain way. Or how can a movie’s ending , for example, be surprising or turn out any differently to the director of the movie. I just don’t understand what the point is, if everything is already known. Why the theatre? Why would God put us through all of this when He already knows the outcome of everything and everyone? * the second point now regarding the “ purification of the soul” is also weak . Think about this for a second . Where did the souls come from? Who created it and what is it made of ? Are you telling me that the soul was already corrupt? Isn’t that the idea behind Original Sin? We don’t believe in Original Sin to begin with. Look further into this problem as well. Aren’t babies born sinless? Aren’t they not subjected to any punishment should they pass away as children? So then how can their soul need any purification to begin with. And finally, didn’t God create all the souls that will ever exist and bring them before Him to declare that He is the one and only true God and then erased that memory from humanity? So were these souls defective in the first place that they needed purification before entering Heaven? Again , why? What’s the point ? I know this will make me sound like a disbeliever for even questioning these things, however, God also gave me a brain that it’s hard to not think of and question these things. I have yet , and it’s been years, to hear anyone be able to explain these things to me and have answers. Please open your mind.

Ainan Zargar I think I understand thank you. It’s a fluid or live destiny then. The end results could vary depending on your actions. It’s like saying there are 10 doors in front of me to choose which to enter, but the path and destination through each door is different and results are different. But how do we know that we’re making that choice to begin with? How do we know it wasn’t written what choice we’ll make? It’s mind boggling.

Ainan Zargar ok you almost had me, but that argument fails. You say that we know that the decision is ours because we have been given free will to choose. Actually no, we don’t know we have free will. We are told that we do, and we are trusting that we do, but we do not know that we do. I watched the video with brother Naik and this was my conclusion from it : This doesn’t make sense. The example given about the teacher and students is inaccurate. Our Qadar, Fate , Destiny was written BEFORE any of us was created, while the teacher had a full year of experience with the student to base her predictions. Now Allah knows things at all times , yes, however, this means He already knows what I will do. If He already knows what I will do with certainty then it becomes inevitable. That’s not a choice, that’s inevitably. Which means regardless of what you think you’re choosing, it has already been chosen. How do we know that it’s a choice and that we are only acting upon what our destiny has been written for us and thus the illusion of choice is there.
@ainan1494 жыл бұрын
@@eros727 I agree that the example is inaccurate, but it's put forward to show a similarity. It's not supposed to be old wine in a new bottle.
