@@dreamescence However good the system was back then, you can't deny the fact that a very heinous caste based discrimination does exist in our society even today. And this is one of the major reasons for conversions of hindus. All is want is a detailed intellectual humane and serious discussion around birth based caste and discrimination associated with it. And yes, even if we have to completely do away with this caste shit, we should happily do it because in today's day and age there is no requirement of such a system.
