The only compensation I remember being talked about was trophy road star drops, mostly because Fran I was saying that 50 credits and a legendary star drop were too close in value to compensate people, which I agree with the anger because I shouldn’t have my progression slowed by playing the game more

Look, man im grateful for the free stuff they give, i even buy the pass when the skins are worth it. But the problem is it takes an entire month to lv11 a brawler if you dont dump gems into resources.

That plus epic/superrare starr drops usually give out sprays and icons which dont help out with progression at all and epic/legendary drops maybe once every month

they removed some resources from things like club league and redistributed with free rewards the amount of resources slowly increases but not because of the events, they have said they have an amount of resources on average each player could get for free every year, and usually whatever they didnt give out comes in brawlidays which is why its such a massive event

The catch is that it’s luck based, i’ve gotten 1 hypercharge out of an event since i came back in may.I tend to only get cosmetics out of free drops

Yeah it varies wildly, considering that I'm one of the luckiest players in that I got 3 of my legendary brawlers out of starr drops(Amber, then Chester, then Leon)

@@GreenHeisenberg no there isnt, if so, what hypercharge are you getting? The free hypercharge has always come in the form of a hypercharge starr drop which guarantees a random hypercharge or 5000 coins of you have all of them(besides the first hypercharge update where it was just shelly)

The string attached is that all this progression was taken from old club league when it was transformed into mega pig there was a community post made that said they were aware mega pig would in average give less than actively playing club wars so they said they would alleviate this by running more community events

I would recommend you to actually do a research before making videos. Firts of all, you didn't mention the Chroma no more event in december which was one of the largest ones because you could have gotten a lot of resources + multiple legendary and mythic brawlers for free. Second of all, your answer to the question in the video title is WRONG. When they removed Club Games, they put Mega Pig with way less rewards. It was a nerf to progression and they knew that. So, to make up for the missing rewards, they reallocated them into community events. That means that old Club Games (Club League + Club Quests) = Mega Pig + Community Events. Your answer is that they are just generous and that's all, which is true, but the literally main reason is that they are doing these events to give us the missing rewards from club games/mega pig nerf, while also generating a lot of hype for the game. Also, this is a very smart move from them. In Club League, if you just miss one ticket, you couldn't get maximum rewards. That's why people didn't even play it while it could have boosted their progression a lot. Now, if you miss or don't play mega pig, it's not a big deal because it gives less rewards, but if you win just one match you will still get the maximum rewards if the mega pig is full. Also, the bigger side of rewards are now in Community Events and you don't even need to play to get them (except if there is a x2 starr drops, coin shower, xp shower events etc.), the rewards are just in the shop for free. It's overall just easier to get rewards which were previosuly hard to get in Club Games. It really shows how smart the devs are. I also need to mention the Godzilla Event and the current Classic Brawl Event. Those are not community events and are not part of the missing rewards from Mega Pig nerf. Monster eggs nor the new Mega Boxes give a lot of progression, they are mainly focused on cosmetics. I call them 'Fun events', and the community events are fun but they are mainly focused on progression and not cosmetics. If you don't trust me. the devs mentioned all of this in the latest Time to Explain podcast a few months ago, and even Dani talked about this on Twitter/X. Thank you if you read this!

BS. I've been playing for years non-stop and right now I'm paying 4 times the amount I used to and can barely sustain my maxed account with the amount of stuff that's coming out every two seasons and the amount of resources the BP gives. All the stuff you mentioned may sound a lot but it's laughable if you add them all up and the cosmetic rewards are luck based to incentivize you to spent more. We pay the price of a AAA game every 5 months and the state of the game has barely improved for things that matter. It's only greed from now on.

It’s luck based though. Just because they give out free star drops doesn’t guarantee anything good. I got 5 skins from my 5 legendary star drops meanwhile other people got a new brawler, two Hypercharges and a star power. As a f2p player it’s near impossible to get my hands on Hypercharges and star powers because I NEVER get them from stardrops and I never get any coins to buy thwm

I've been playing since February 2019, and the Brawl Stars team has greatly improved the game in the past few years. Every bad change or mistake they have made they make up with great changes or free rewards. Ever since the change in unlocking brawlers, going from boxes to credits, the game has become very f2p friendly and showed that the devs cared a lot for the players, even at the cost of revenue due to boxes being removed. Monetization hasn't been a problem as even if p2w players have a big advantage in progress, the game can be progressed easily as a f2p player. Spending money on the game isn't necessary to win battles. People who complain about it have to remember that they need money to allow the game to continue living. The devs are trying to make it as fun as possible for f2p and p2w players, there's plenty of evidence to prove it. Change my mind

Well u are almost true but I don't like the idea of brawl pass to be bought by gems getting removed and also f2p have coin storage and boxes were better than start drops cause u could collect them more in number and also it gave more no. Of items I understand after brawl pass boxes were also limited but still they were better and more rewarding And because of the new updates we upgrade using coins well it made players progression really really faster and after a certain amount of trophy players don't have much fun to play my few high trophy players quit game A lot of good things have also happened like it's easier to buy skins now and get gadgets, gears

@@arpitbhuarya The paid side of the old brawl pass gives the same amount of rewards as the free side of the brawl pass we have now dude. The only difference is that we don't get cosmetics and bling. That's it. The change was mainly so that if you want to spend money to get the brawl pass, you get way more for doing so. It did nothing but help both types of players. F2p get to spend their gems on whatever they want instead of just the brawl pass, and p2w players get more for spending money in the game. Starr drops are not meant to be a total replacement to boxes. The only part of the boxes they replace is the surprise factor. They aren't the main way of making progress inside the game, so they don't give out as many rewards. They still give satisfaction though if you do get something good out of them. That's their point. Now that we got a better way of progressing in the game starr drops are just meant to be add-ons rather than the main system. Also you can easily collect tons of them and open them all at once. Just don't collect the ones from the brawl pass until the season ends and you'll open tons, especially if you do tons of quests and gain a lot of starr drops from the bonus rewards at the end of the pass. Mega pig isn't as rewarding as club league, obviously, but it requires much less effort and overall helps the more casual players. Those players are what Brawl Stars needs to focus on the most rather than the small amount of top players to keep the game healthy. I'm part of the top players at 49k total trophies. Not the best, but definitely up there, so while it sucks it has to be that way, it is what it is. When it comes to rewards the new system is much better. That's just a fact. We get way better rewards from the brawl pass than from the boxes the old brawl pass gave
