The fact that you now have to gamble WITH ROBUX to get a limited cosmetic item in Blade Ball gives me both physical and mental pain

Mobile player here, ps99 for more was a bit laggy at times but is perfectly fine if you turn on reduced orbs.

Here is a faster answer, its due to the game being mostly P2W because all the abilities are super overpowered and CHEAP meaning any rich kid that just started can turn into a god with just a few robux and also its the fact that now to even have fun you need to grind the game for better abilities and it will be worse because of the new P2W abilities that you are going against so new players think it's unfair and want P2W to be removed for good but rich players want the game to stay balanced by making the abilities less expensive so it just turned into a war where 1 side wants the game to be grind based and not P2W while the 2nd side wants the game to be less expensive and less grindy plus there are the bugs that everyone hates: the map disappearing, the game being too unbalanced meaning players with a thousand wins can join a server full of new players making the game impossible to play most of the time and there is also the p2w problems where there are more things to pay for in order to get good meaning blade ball is just going to die itself if it does not fix it If it fixes the rich player problem, then any player that does not pay in the game will stop playing meaning like 70% of the players will leave. If the devs fix the regular players that don't pay problem, then 30% of the rich players will just either stop playing or just play rarely. The developers are in trouble. Edit aka part 2. There is also the problem with harassment on new players from rich players and players hate it even if they add a skill-based server system it would suck because let's say you are a player with like 200 wins and 563 kills and then an update drops, and you get teleported to a server full of try hard p2w players. and you just started playing and you leave and think it a bug but no you teleport back into another try hard server. and you are not a god at the game you are just decent well it will ruin the game then since lots of OK players with a few hundred wins will get teleported to a server full of absolute monsters. The devs are greedy and they would not remove the ability to buy any abilities meaning the devs will just fix the rich player problems meaning the game will get more P2W and unfair. If the devs don't fix any problem, then the game will just die until it has like 20K players. so that's the end of this trip thx for reading.

There was also an incident between Willy (Willyandgaming) and a dev. So basically, Willy challenged a dev (For a video) to win for all the items in Blade ball, Willy won later but the dev got so mad, he banned Willy perm or something, there wasn’t news between the incident but people expected it to be a perm ban on a video that Willy made. But the good thing is that the dev was removed from the Blade ball group and banned from it (Someone told Willy and Willys subscribers got shocked on the video).

theres basically no update unless you want to give the devs a sh*tload of money

the scripting was already there with the code assistant (something you give a prompt, in a script, and then it will give a suggestion on how to script it and you press tab to accept the suggestion). but, until the assistant can model and make maps, i don't think it will be useful

i think this ai thing for the studio is good but has its problems i wanted to learn scripting for a long time now and i finally got an easy way to do it but the bad part is that you cant really find any talented devs anymore because they might just copy and paste from the ai but atleast updates wont take forever now

What’s worse is that most of the stuff isn’t even stuff that you would use to win because there is only 1 or 2 event abilities (unless of course I’m wrong and they made skins have like 10x more parry range)

I personally think it won't kill creativity. why? you may ask because a lot of people could have very interesting ideas that can become true like general ideas as long as it's not fully AI generated but as long as they control what is in the game and the game itself like maybe add their own things i don't really think it will because people generally wants control over something and that goes for everyone eventually.

I think the worst thing is that blade ball had the mechanic of a older game called deflect, and it just stole all the glory that deflect deserved to have (im not saying that they just copied it, but now that they just dont care much more than adding p2w stuff is sad)

Honestly I like ps99 i played for about an hour and got through like 20 zones without paying a single penny.

I’m a builder not a coder so having an assistant help me would be great like like would save so much time than finding dev forums, videos, models.

I think that the ai will help Roblox. People who are very creative can now make fun, interesting concepts, even if they can’t code. Basically, this could make a bunch of trashy p2w simulators, but I think a lot of people who are creative can make Roblox so much better.

The roblox assistant could also make solve the problem by teaching people with creativity how to code and model to make their own game that they couldnt do before because they didnt know how to use lua

the blade ball devs are so entitled they act like making it so you dont have to scrape your f*cking bank account dry to get cosmetic items you can use in one game is too much to ask for like for gods sake just have normal monetization for a change

i know you gotta get the 10 minutes but for the blade ball part you didn't need to repeat the same thing 10 times. I do agree tho, i use to play blade ball back when the second limited was out and ever since then its just been in a down spiral of like $400 abilities that make it nearly impossible to play or get into the game. Not to mention the ever increasing prices of swords which give no advantage at all which are also only available for a limited amount of time which pressures people into buying them. The best way to stop this is to stop playing and buying from the game altogether but that will probably never happen, especially with youtubers that just buy the swords and abilities to play around with them for content much like apex legends with their heirloom recolours. Bladeball stop being so money hungry when you legit make millions and millions of robux every time you drop a new event.

The Roblox ai chat gpt has been out for a while. I tried it almost 2 weeks ago and I saw no point because I failed to answer a my question of one of the scripts I was working on was buggy as hell before I fixed it.

lade ball is a good example of "if you make it look better then you will get popular" because blade ball ripped off of deflect. the difference between the two is that deflect used your arms, and i don't know if it used abilities, blade ball uses swords which people find cooler and it uses abilities and has A LOT of skins. in my opinion deflect should be popular than blade ball.

Nah this is the thing, making a game like blade ball isent that hard, but the devs just ruined the game by making it pay to win. I played when it first released until the update came that added pay to win stuff. I was fine with it sense they need money, but update 2 came then it added more. It was fine but know they kept on adding it after that, I stoped at update 2 sense it got boring but they could of made so much money if they just dident go to far

After the halloween update I quit playing the game and disliked it and just forgotten about the game. It's just insanely p2w and isn't fun at all anymore, It was fine with some stuff like a odd skin here and there and a power but now it's just unreal with the amount of p2w. It's sad as even Pet sim 99 is less P2W then Blade and that's unreal, The game isn't even that great in terms of gameplay as it's buggy and really depends on connections so half the time it's just unfair but with all these new "p2w" powers it's just even more unfair then ever. It was fun at first but has died down a lot due to all this mass p2w content and yea people will find newer better games to play then this repeated mess.
