Tchouameni Valverde Camavinga. They can replace the midfield trio of Casemiro-Kroos-Modric and play together for a decade. We would see a wall of strong, dynamic, and creative midfield

Very true, this isn’t a direct replacement for modric in that sense, I’m sure Madrid will actually look to replace modric with someone with a more similar profile. But that three alone, no words.

As good as he is and how much I'd love him at Liverpool I feel Ibrahim Sangaré is more fitted to the Liverpool profile of players we target. The same type of stats, more of an unrecognisable name, cheaper player that we wouldn't be pulled into a bidding war for. The fact we could get him and Fabian Ruiz for less than what Tchouaméni would cost would benefit the squad more with an aging midfield and still leave us hopefully some funds to replace Mane ( I still think a straight swap with Gnabry would be ideal for all 4 parties but that's just me )

Like the idea of Sangaré and Ruiz but do not want Gnabry. Id rather go for Danjuma, Terrier or just take a punt at Nkunku.

@@callumcooper8956 I'd love Nkunku but I can't imagine us forking out the 55m for him plus the 40m for Sangare and 25m for Ruiz unless we start flogging off some of the deadwood we have. I think Gnabry would be good he can play on the right and left and can do a job up top when needed which means when we lose Salah we have cover. Alot of people want Darwin Nunez but I think that keeps us very ridged in a out and out forward out and out right and left wingers

@@Alex___Scott yea I get you Gnabry can cover either side it’s just the wage demands really he wants double what he’s on now to join, we aren’t going to pay him £230,000 a week. Imagine we signed all the 3 players I mentioned if we had the funds and took them on there wages right now… all 3 would still come under Gnabrys wages combined. I understand the fee for Nkunku would be high and he’d Prefer PSG but he’s a player I feel can be better without being in the shadow of an Mbappe etc. Nunez for me far too pricey. The money touted for Nunez needs to be spent in the midfield areas like you said for the likes of Sangaré or Ruiz… or both. Would love to get Bellingham in though! 😂

@@eden105 Camavinga can also play CDM, he's a very versatile midfielder with even great defensive abilities. Also Casemiro just recently turned 30, he has at least 3 year left in him at the top level, and so far been the best CDM in the world for the last 8 years with tons of experience. Real Madrid is in no rush to get Thoumeni, nor is he worth the asking price.

@@outlawfly664 I don't think you understand what a DM is supposed to do exactly. It's not just about getting the ball back. Just because Camavinga is a great tackler and a high intensity pressures with lots of interceptions and steals does not make him a good or even suitable dm. Far from it even. He lacks the composure, tactical awareness and positioning to be a great dm. I love him to bits and rank him up there with Bellingham and Pedri but putting him in dm would be an absolute waste of his talents and he would not be the required level in that role. Off course he can play there when the need arises but he's not good enough to be there permanently. Besides, if you watch the games he's played at dm both at Madrid and Rennes you see exactly what i'm talking about. That's exactly why Rennes brought in Nzonzi so Cama could play higher up the pitch where his intensity, pressure and tendency to go to ground for tackles (absolute no go for single pivot dm's most of the time!) would be more useful and less dangerous seeing as him constantly being out of position and leaving holes does not matter as much when there's a dm (Nzonzi) behind you to plug the gaps.

Just because you don’t recognise his name doesn’t mean he is not on a certain level, given his respective position (DM) he doesn’t get the same „Hype“ / Attention as some of the forwards mentioned. A player with his abilities and potential in his position (CM/ DM) is pretty rare and the market is rather small.

But Camavinga is far more versatile than him with far more abilities and can literally play in any position on the midfield, and not only is he 3 years younger than him, but he only costed Madrid 30 mil. The asking price for Thoumeni is way to high, let's be honest here.

@@divinefavour1970 Fair points. But Camavinga market value at Rennes was at same high, yet got Madrid got him for way less despite the remaining of his contract. Thoumeni offcial market value is at 55-60 mil yet Monaco is asking 100 mil plus bonuses (over 50% more), even though they intend to sell him and he wants to leave which is ridiculous. Also the reason West Ham has put 150 mil price tag for Declan Rice is because he's not for sale according to their sporting director, nor do they intend to sell him, hence why they knew no one would pay that sum for him. Come on man do you really want Real Madrid to pay 100+ mil for Thoumeni?
